Marcus Kramer was born on December 9, 1962 in Altaustsenberg, a village in Vinterberg district in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Marcus Henrich's father - Chairman of the Alta Sunteneberg sports club, and Marcus himself was in his youth biathlon, played for the local ski club and the Willingen Ski Club, where he studied at the boarding school.
Sports career
In 1986, Kramer graduated from the Sports Academy in Cologne and opened his coaching biography from work in the Sessen Earth Ski Association. In 1988 he joined the German Ski Association. Phone call of the physiotherapist Isabel Knauttea caught Kramera when the coach returned from Switzerland to Germany in the summer of 2010. Isabelle got a job in Russia a few days before the President of the Russian Ski Racing Federation became Elena Vyalbe, who offered Marcus to work with Alexander Lungov. The parties concluded a secret agreement, having agreed that it would be easy to prepare for the new season according to the instructions of Kramer, but in the Russian national team.
Later, Kramer convinced Vyalbe in the need for individual work with passenger and suggested as a coach of his disciple Swiss Reto Burgermaister, who recently completed the sports career and worked as a bicycle in the sports store. At a distance of 50 km at the Olympic Games in Sochi, Alexander Lungov took the first place, Maxim Eligor became the second, but the IOC canceled their results, and the title switched to Ilya Chernousov. In later interviews, Kramer explained that the situation at which one athlete takes doping, and the teammate, who trained with him together, is not impossible. Marcus Kramer officially entered the headquarters of the Russian ski team in August 2015, the light and Sergey Turyshev immediately joined the work with him, and a year after moving the coach to Russia, three skiers of the Burgermaister - Ustyugov group, Yevgeny Belov and Stanislav Volzhentsev - also moved to German.
In April 2016, at the proposal of Kramer, the coaching council decided to combine the male and female groups, and 6 girls came to the German coach, among whom Natalia Matveev and Julia Beloorow (Stupak).
