The project "The Top Model of American" produced a furyor in the mid-2000s. Shows were held in the hundreds of countries in the world, dozens of adapted options have been created for local markets. "You_top-model" on TNT - already the third attempt to "unwind" the show in Russia, the authors of which made a bet on girls of non-standard appearance - bright, bold, charismatic and host themselves.History of creation
"You_Top-Model" on TNT - adaptation of the popular America's Next Top Model format ("Top-model of American") created in 2004 by Thaira Banks. In the 23rd season of the Supermodel program replaced the singer Rita Ora. The shooting of the final 25th season of the show in the "All Star" format was scheduled for 2020, but as a result, they were postponed due to a coronavirus infection pandemic.
In Russia, the American project was broadcast on the Sony Entertainment Television TV channel, several seasons were broadcast Muz-TV, and 20, 23 and 24 seasons are shown at Yu.
The first Russian version of the show "You - Supermodel" went on the air of the CTC television channel (2004-2007). The project was held by Fyodor and Svetlana Bondarchuk and Alexander Tsekalo. The show lasted 4 seasons, and the winner of the 1st issue of Ksenia Kakhnovich concluded a contract with the IMG model agency and performed on the world's largest podiums.
The second adaptation of the "Top Model in Russian" was launched in 2010 by the MUZ-TV channel. At the helm of the program stood Ksenia Sobchak, Irina Shayk and Natalia Stefanhenko. The show lasted 5 seasons, the last of which came out on the channel "Yu". There are also shown by several seasons "supermodels in Ukrainian."
In October 2020, TNT announced the revival of the "top model" in Russia and opened the casting, oriented on girls with bright charisma, regardless of age and weight. When selecting participants from 12 thousand received applications, the project organizers focused on bright and incredible biographies of girls, as well as the desire to achieve heights in the profession of the model.
The first edition of the show was released on the Sunday broadcast of the TV channel on March 21, 2021.
Essence and rules
Casting participants appear to 4 members of the jury - three leading projects and an expert from the world of international fashion. After the photo demonstration, the model representations and a short interview takes voting. In the event of equality of votes, the opinion of the main leading (Anastasia residova) is decisive.In the first two releases from 35 candidates, 20 are pre-examined and are invited to the first workshop on the project and photo session. After that, appreciating the results of the mannequin, the jury announces the names of those 10 girls, which will continue the struggle for the main prize. Of the 20, the first selection of participants after the final test will remain only 14, which will go to the model house.
In each weekly issue of the participants' programs take their studies in the field related to the model business, for example, walking on the podium, communication with the press. This is followed by a test where the winner of the week receives a prize or advantage is determined. Failure entails punishment, up to the immediate exclusion of the participant.
Another segment of each week is a photo session on a specific topic, the result of which plays important in the final assessment of the model. Traditionally, by decision of the jury, at the end of each issue, one of the participants leave the project.
The main prize of the show is 3 million rubles. and getting a dream work, a contract with the World Fashion Agency.
Leading and jury
The leading 1st season of the show "You_Top-Model" on TNT entered Russian influentes. The main role was obtained by the model, 1st Vice-Miss Russia 2014 Anastasia Rytettov, who helps the showman Alexander Gudkov and the stylist, the star "Yutiuba" Gosha Kartsev.
