Biography
Peter Elephimov - Belarusian singer, representative of Belarus at the Eurovision International Competition 2009, winner of the five gold medals of the World Cup of the Performing Arts (USA) 2010, the participant of the second season of the show "Voice" and the second season of the teleconcurs "Home Scene".
Peter Elphimov was born on February 15, 1980 in Mogilev. Peter's parents were musicians, so music since childhood occupied the main place in the life of the future artist. In the children's music school, Peter Elfimov studied in the class of pipes. Further vocational education received in Mogilev College of Music and Choreography, studying on the conductor-choir faculty.
During this period, the creative biography of Peter began his performances as a soloist of the studio "Dubl B" under the leadership of Vasily Xinkov and Vasily Buynitsky. Numerous concerts in the cities of Belarus end in the first success - as part of this team, Peter becomes a laureate of the contest of young pop-up artists "Zorn Rosstan-96". Without stopping at what was achieved, the young artist continues to improve professional qualities and, by completing the Music College in 1998, proceeds to further training at the Vocal Faculty of the Belarusian State Academy of Music in Minsk. Having moved to the capital, the musician becomes a soloist in the Egoist group.
Since 1999, Peter Elfimov receives fame as a KVN team player "RUDN". First, speaking as part of the team of the Belarusian State University, then, having moved to the national team of the Russian University of Friendship Peoples, the young artist conquers prestigious awards, including "Big Kiwin in the Dark" (for reaching 3 place) and "Small Kiwin in Gold" ( for 4 position).
To date, Peter is an absolute champion of the International Union of KVN.
Music
In August 2003, Peter Elphimov receives an invitation to become a soloist of the Belarusian ensemble "Pesnyary" under the leadership of Vyacheslav Sharapova. Such an opportunity appeared due to the fact that the ensemble was looking for an artist who could replace the tragically deceased Vladimir Mulyavin, the founder of "Pesnyar". Participation in the famous team brings the career of a young vocalist to a qualitatively new level. Serious touring concerts on CIS countries, special status within Belarus, experience in the current team of professionals - all this was the steps of the stairs leading to the success of the artist.In 2004, Peter Elphimov leaves the composition of "Pesnyar" for the sake of solo career and becomes the winner of the Grand Prix for participating in the International Festival of Arts "Slavic Bazaar" in Vitebsk. Later, the artist becomes a regular participant of this festival, speaking in different years with the songs of "Mom", "Call", "I Only Want to Say". In 2006, the first studio album of the artist "I want" is coming out, and a second disk "Bell" appears in a year.
In 2009, Peter receives a master's degree in the Belarusian State Academy of Music and a diploma of higher education. In the same year, the release of the album "With New Birth", as well as the premiere of the clip on the song "My Soul". In September 2011, the artist was remembered by listeners with a performance in Minsk-Arena, at the evening dedicated to the memory of the Lokomotiv's hockey team who died in a plane crash.
In 2009, Peter Elfimov wins the national qualifying round of Eurovision and represents the country in the semifinals of the competition. In the Yelfimov team, serious preparation was carried out. Over his song "Eyes That Never Lie", which submitted the country at the festival, worked as the Finnish producer of Tero Quinnen, known for cooperation with the Nightwish group.
Unfortunately, Peter Elfimov did not gain enough votes to enter the Eurovision final, taking only the 13th place. This failure received a wide resonance in the media, which, like the whole country, was hurting for their candidate. Subsequently, the Polish director and choreographer Yanush Yuzfovich, who was hired to produce a concert show Elephimov, commented on this situation in an interview for the first national television channel. He noted that it is very difficult to carry out the number for a person, whose actions lead his wife.
In July 2010, in Los Angeles, Peter Elephimov participates in the "World Championships of Performing Arts 2010" competition, where performs in five nominations with vocal rooms: Aria Lensky from the Opera "Eugene Onegin", "Child In Time" of the "Deep Purple" groups , Aria Jesus from the Rock Opera "Jesus Christ - Superstar", as well as songs "Enchanted" and "Somewhere in The Night". A brilliant speech brings the artist five gold medals.
In 2012, Peter first tried himself at the acting field, starring in the Belarusian mini-series director Nikolai Knyazev "Steal Belmondo."
In 2013, Elphimov participated in the main vocal Russian show "Voice". On the blind auditions, the singer conquered the audience the execution of the song "flew through the windows." In 2015, Peter Elphimov again hit the screens, this time as a participant in the second season of the music show "Home Scene". The artist passed the qualifying round in which 10 thousand contestants participated. Peter got into the team Nikolai Noskova. Diana Arbenina, Valery Leontyev and Elena Vaenga also became judges and mentors of the project. Personal life
Natalia Dementieva became the first wife of Peter Yefimova. Their marriage lasted for a long time, and in 2004 young people divorced. Tatiana Kosmacheva's second wife is a producer and concert director of the artist. Despite the difference in the age of 27 years, this marriage turned out to be strong. Tatiana and Peter brought up the daughter of Polina.
