Lucia Letia Mendez Peres was born on January 26, 1956 in the city of Leon de Los Aldam on the territory of Mexico. The father of Antonio Mendez Velasco by profession was a chemist engineer, and Martha's mother Ophelia Perez Mendez was a housewife and was engaged in raising children.
