The history of the creation of the ensemble originates in 1996 from the draft Alexander Starostin, at that time he speaking under the pseudonym Fedor Bear. In the work, the musician experimented with electronic, industrial and noise music.
In 1999, Monti was joined to Alexander, Max Kostyn and Kusas, as well as Yana Veva. In the same year, the team changed the name on Theodor Bastard. Until 2000 Yana played the guitar, and after it became a vocalist. Thanks to her in the composition of the team, folklore notes were made.
In 2001, Anton Urazov joined the participants. He was responsible for programming, sampler and wagan until 2005. In 2008, partners decided to leave Max Kostyn, and Alexey Kalinovsky came to his place after 6 years.
In 2009, the artists decided that they lack drums, and invited Andrei Dmitriev, who later replaced Sergey Smirnov. Over time, the team had new creative ideas, and Cellist Vyacheslav Salikov and the backyalist Ekaterina Dolmatova were seen to her. Since then, the composition has not changed.

The performance of the songs in this album has radically different from the previous version.
In the fall and in the winter of 2011, the team worked immediately in two directions. A new album Oikoumene was preparing, when creating the tools of the peoples of the world were created, and the group members themselves played on many of them. In parallel, a collection of remixes with the participation of European groups was recorded.
Artists have not changed their principles and even with the participation in the international project Balconytv played on unusual musical instruments in 2014. A cellist Vsevolod Gakkel was invited to work together. The group performed a song on the roof of the house in the heart of Peter.
In 2015, discography was replenished with the album "branches" - he just like the "emptiness", was written for several years. Fans easier waited for this event. In 2017, a collection of soundtracks to the game "Mor" called Utopia. The entire album is impregnated by the atmosphere of the game and mystical adventure. In 2020, a new album "Wolf Yagoda" was released by edition of only 500 copies. Musicians worked over him for 5 years, and the group fans waited with impatience.
