Recent years, according to the memoirs of relatives, Sergey was fond of extreme sports. He tried himself in diving, drove a yacht, went hunting. For six months before the death of the TV presenter almost went under the water on his own sailboat, without coping with the control.

On that day, he was saved only by a miracle: having time to dig out of the water and stay on the bottom of the yacht, the Supones managed to hold out 4 hours until the rescuers were discovered.

Sergey adored motorcycles, snowmobiles, motorboats and crazy speed. On December 8, 2001, Supones left for the cottage to the Tver region to ride a snowmobile. In the evening of the same day, local residents found a journalist - signs of life Supones did not give. The investigation was not doubted that the death of the TV host was an accident.

The man was driving on a snowmobile on a frozen Volga in the area of ​​the village of Unimonovo at high speed and at a difficult moment did not cope with the management - a snowmobile crashed into a pier. The blow was such a force that Sergey Suponeva was thrown out of the steering wheel and dropped a few meters.

The resulting head injuries caused the death of the TV host. He died instantly. His death became a tragedy not only for a family, but also for hundreds of thousands of fans of Suponov's creativity.

Relatives later wondered for a long time - why, possessing a great experience of driving this vehicle, Sergey still crashed on a snowmobile. But the answer was not found.
