Paul was born and grew up in the Donetsk region, in the village of Konstantinovka. Pasha's music began to be interested in school years, but then it was just a passion, no more than a hobby.

Do business bringing money, but not moral and mental pleasure, becomes unbearably for the musician. And then Paul moved to St. Petersburg and begins to record his own songs and music.

In the first period of creative biography, the musician was in search of his own handwriting. Paul tried many styles, including even an electronic sound. It is based on this genre "Snegiri" suggested Paul's first official contract for the publication of a debut album, but Evlakhov refused to find this way commercial.

Instead, the singer creates its own project "4", such a peculiar creative association, where Paul's songs are performed by themselves and other musicians, including popular. The group, in addition to Pavel Evlakhov, entered the instrumentalist musicians Alexey Yushkevich, Alexander Monroe, Evgeny Rinkevich, Dmitry Losev, Boris Istomin. The music material participants recorded on several labels - FG Nikitin, Real Records and "Monolith".

Subsequently, the artist, already under the pseudonym Pavel Chekhov, collaborated with the stars - Sergey Zhukov from "Hands up!", Vyacheslav Bucosov, former vocalist "Nautilus Pompilius", duet sang with Lero Maskva. Most recently, the joint song "Rhythms of the windows", which Chekhov wrote and fulfilled in a pair with another St. Petersburg musician - Vasya Oblombov.

The new project "4Ekhov" is more about living sound, which turned out to be very popular among the public. Thanks to the collective manager, Cyril Tikhonin Pavel Chekhov acts at the concert of the popular group "Leningrad" and even goes on stage along with Sergey Shnurov, and the singer's compositions fall into the rotation of Russian radio stations, including metropolitan.

The first big hit of the project was the song "wounded by you", which Chekhov performed together with the musicians of the group "Cartel". The musical composition fell into the rotation of the "Maximum Radio", and the first concert group "4Eks" gave in the pop theater.

And in 2005, the light saw the debut album "4": The Best ", which included tracks written by Paul in previous years. Sound producers from St. Petersburg Oleg Baranov, Andrei Samsonov, Andrei Gorsky, as well as the famous concert organizer Kirill Tikhonin, participated in the disc.

It is curious that at the beginning of the creative path the group of "4Eks" was quite often confused with the Minsk team of "Chekhov", which was created by the Belarusian writer and TV presenter Vyacheslav Bondarenko. By the way, so far on some sites of the song of Belarusians are attributed to Pavel Chekhov, and vice versa.

After the success of the first record, Paul moves to Moscow and concludes a contract with a large label. In the metropolitan audio recording studio, Evlakhov drives songs for the second album, which, unfortunately, was not published due to some differences. Instead of this Chekhov with invited musicians, Oleg Chubykin, Oleg Baranov and with Alexander Badazhkov, records the Pop Music disk, which was first represented by listeners on MySpace servers in December 2008.

The album was again successful, the song "In the port" becomes a big hit, and six compositions from this plate fall into the Soundtrack of the Rating Comedy Series "Margosha". At the same time, Pavel Chekhov is working on the remix musical composition "Lena Smirnova", which the singer is written with Sergey Zhukov. Together with the Leroy Maskva, he records the soundtrack to the film "Waiting for a miracle."

After another 4 years, the album of the best things "11 songs" was published, but mostly the musician focused on the regular release of new video clips.

Personal life

With the joint work of Pavel Evlakhov with the singer Valery Gureaeva, famous for the pseudonym Lera Maskva, ranging a spark of love between young people. Romantic relationships began between musicians, and in 2007 Paul and Lera got married.
