The biography of Thomas Clayiton Wolf began in the fall of 1900 in the US state of North Carolina. He was the youngest son of William Oliver and Julia Elizabeth - representatives of the Jewish nationality, living in the city of Ashville and raised eight children.
Father was a Master of Art Cutting on Stone and the owner of the funeral business, the mother bought real estate in the vicinity and contained the boarding house. The future writer most of the time was in the care of the parent, his most devoted friend was early deceased older brother.
In early childhood, Thomas loved literature, especially the books of classical authors. Having reached the age of 15, he entered the State University of State, joined the discussion club, named the society of dialectics and philanthropy, and joined the student fraternity, named "Pi Kappa Fi".
According to the advice of teachers and classmates, the American recorded on the course of drama, his debut play "Return of Baka Gavin" put an amateur educational theater.

Personal life
