Biography
Arnis Licitis is the Soviet and Latvian actor theater and cinema. The popularity of the actor brought pictures "Favorite", "difficult to be God", "Rich, poor, ...", "Rus Priminal" and other popular filmters. By the way, Licitis almost the only Baltic actor of the Soviet period, who did not need a dubler at voicing - Arnis without an accent speaks Russian.
Arnis Licitis was born and grew up in Riga. Both parents of the boy were directly related to the acting environment. Father Alfred Vostejaks also appeared in the cinema, and on theatrical stage, and Mom Helga Licitis played in operettas. But Arnis has grown without a father, as Alfred quickly left his wife and child. The financial situation was very deplorable, so Licitis was at the age of 13 participating in labor crews and traveled with geologists in the country's expedition.
He liked the profession of geologist, and Arnis was predisposed to the study of foreign languages, so Mom hoped that the Son would not go on her footsteps, but would choose a "normal" occupation. But contrary to the will of Helga, the young man decided to continue the family dynasty. After school, he entered the Theater Faculty of the Latvian State Conservatory named after Janis Vitola.
In 1970, the young actor debuted on the stage of the Riga Academic Drama Theater and, speaking successfully, was accepted into the troupe. Then, in the career of Licitis, there were Valmiera Drama Theater, the Riga Theater of the Young Spectator and the Russian Drama Theater in Riga. In recent years, Arnis Alfredovich is more focused on teaching activities. It is the artistic director of the International School of Cinema and Television "Charlie Cinema School", which is located in the capital of Latvia. In addition, Licitis records commercials for the radio, tours as a participant in the "Cabernet" ensemble and even writes music himself.

In the cinema, Arnis Licitis debuted still a student in the historical adventure film "Conspiracy of Ambassadors". In general, during the 80s, Arnis Licitis starred a lot. But the next decade it began to call less frequently. Personal life
Arnis Licitis was never married officially, and none of three civilian wives did his father. With the first two women, the actor's relationship did not work out, and he categorically does not want to remember them.

It should also be noted that Arnis Alfredovich was one of the close friends of Yuri Nikulina and repeatedly participated in his humorous program "White Parrot".

The last Russian film of Licitis today is the adventurous tragicomedy "Gastrolers", released on screens in 2016. The picture was released by the "Producer of Sergey Zhigunov".
In the series about the brothers-gangsters of Ving and Mishane, who are trying to hide from Tambov Mafiosi, Arnis Licitis played the role of the Commissioner of the Justas Gailitis police. To escape from the Russian mafia, the Criminals brothers want to get to Brazil, but fall into the provincial Lithuanian city of Ryal, where they decide to settle and start a new illegal business. Also in 2016, Arnis Licitis played the role of the president's assistant in the picture "In one step from the Third World War."
On March 23, 2017, Arnis Licitis appeared in the Lithuanian scientific fiction thriller "What they don't see," where they played a secondary role. "What they don't see" reveal the sharp today the creation of an artificial intelligence close to the characteristics to the human brain.
The main characters of the paintings are a scientist of Nicolas who fell into someone because of the incident during the development of artificial intelligence, and the nurse Elsa, which is caught by scientists. In 2018, the actor will appear in the Russian-Latvian short film "Once in Rezekne", where the detective story about murder in the train is intertwined with the adventures in search of hidden treasures from the old legend.
