Biography
Savik Schuster is a journalist and TV presenter of Russian and Ukrainian television shows, who has Canadian and Italian citizenship. Until the beginning of 2017 he led the program "Schuster Live" on its own channel "3s.tv".
Savik, whose full name Shevel was born in Vilnius. Father Mikhail Schuster was a professional footballer of the Lithuanian team "Spartak" and at the end of the career remained there as a coach. Mother of the boy, Isabella Schuster, served as a legal adviser. Savik, looking at the Father, also wanted to play "Sport Millions" and studied in a children's football school. The boy showed good results and even caused to the youth football team of the Lithuanian SSR.
But after graduating from high school, the Schuster does not go on a sports path, and enters the Medical Institute. However, there, the young man studied only a half course, as the family immigrated to Canada. In this northern country, Savik entered the Faculty of Biochemistry and Physiology of the University of McGill in Montreal.
During his studies, Schuster returned to his beloved sport - founded the university's football team, and also played in the semi-professional clubs Ankara and Ukraine and was attracted to the Canadian "All Stars" national team. If not permanent injuries, the quarry quarry on the football field could be very successful.
After a university, a young man worked for some time in Florence in the Research Medical Center for Migraine Study, but soon left medicine, since the young man began to attract journalism. For 10 years, she collaborated with Newsweek, "Der Spiegel", Liberation, La Republica, where he also wrote about military conflicts in Lebanon, Chad, Nicaragua.

Because of this, in the Soviet Union, the correspondent was even considered the CIA agent, but the journalist claims that this is not in fact such an action was a personal initiative of Savik as a supporter of Italian radical media. In the late 80s, Savik Schuster showed himself to the post of radio "Freedom" in Munich. In the 90s, the journalist formed and began to lead the Moscow branch of this radio station. And in 2001, the presenter first appeared in the television studio, although it was not a political journalist, but a sports program. Savik led the Football Overview of the "Third Time" on the NTV channel. By the way, another sports analyst and commentator Vasily Utkin repeatedly argued that the program "Football Club" was closed due to the intrigue of Savik Schuster, who wanted to promote his own show.
After changing the leadership of the NTV channel, the Schuster turned out to be one of the few journalists who remained working under new orders. In addition to the "third half," Savik commented on football matches, and also led the program of various focus - "Freedom of speech", "hero of the day" and "influence".
After the rupture of the contract with the NTV channel, Savik worked on the Ukrainian channels "Inter", "First National" and "Ukraine". There were programs "Freedom Savik Shuster", "Great Ukrainians", "African passions" and the most noticeable - "Schuster Live".
In 2011, setting around on the RBC TV channel, the journalist became the main face of the transfer of "Direct Ether with Savik Schuster." A long series of programs was planned, but after the second ether, the channel's management closed this project.
Returning to Ukraine, the shuster on its own channel "3s.tv" continued to create an independent political show "Schuster Live". The manner of discussion of TV presenter of topical problems is very unusual. In the literal air, the journalist led the discussion uncompromisingly and did not hesitate to pronounce rather causing replicas. Such a transfer format attracted viewers, but as a result in 2016, Savika was forbidden to work in Ukraine, which caused a large resonance in society.
The fans of the journalist organized mass rallies, and Savik Schuster himself announced a hunger strike in protest. The TV journalist announced this on April 26, 2016 and promised not to disturb the veto until the right of freedom of speech was restored.
Films
Savik Schuster rented documentary films dedicated to famous personalities. The most successful there were such tapes as "8 and a half Yevgeny Primakov" and "Passion on Gorbachev", for which the TV journalist wrote a script, and also appeared in the frame as a lead.
Savik Schuster twice invited to artistic paintings. In the same year, the premiere of the comedy "seven days before the wedding" took place with the participation of the TV host, where Savik played notary. Personal life
In the mid-80s, Savik Schuster worked in Florence, where he met the Italian girl, who was married and received local citizenship. Soon the spouses were born the son of Stefano and the daughter of Sarah. But when Schuster began to work as a journalist, the wife refused to leave him to other countries, and as a result, the marriage was destroyed.
After many years, the journalist met in Moscow with Olga Nevsky, with which since 2005 lived in a civil marriage. Olga by profession stylist. The girl was also engaged in the "Studio Savik Shuster" studios as a producer.
The man did the Nevsky official proposal in the romantic setting, which Olga was happy to accept. But the young man did not go under the crown because Savik at that time did not make a divorce with Italian wife.
And in 2012, for unknown reasons, Nevsky and Schuster broke up. Later TV presenter was repeatedly seen in the company of the young Ukrainian beauty Alena Nut, which is 32 years younger than the shuster.
Savik Schuster now
In mid-2016, Savik Schuster announced the creation of a committee in Ukraine to rescue freedom of speech, which will resist government dictatorship against journalists. The idea of the TV presenter was supported by deputies of the Ukrainian Rada, as well as officials. Savik's comrades in this matter were the BPP deputy Sergey Leshchenko and the governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili at that time. The creation of the Committee was the next topic of discussion in Savik Schuster Studios.
The opposition of the state and Savik Schuster did not end. In November, the Pechersk Court of Kiev initiated searches at the studio of the TV channel "3s.tv" and in the apartment of Savik Shuster. On the basis of a criminal case, initiated after the inspection, Savik Shuster was deprived of a journalistic license. The reporter was accused of violating tax legislation. Svuster and employees of Savik Schuster Studio LLC were attributed to intentional evasion of taxes.
In early 2017, the TV channel "3s.tv" ceased to exist. The Schuster team, including the General Director of the studio Pavel Elizarov, continued to fight against bureaucratic obstacles, and in September comrades of the journalist achieved recognition of the tax audit illegal.
The next step in the struggle for the restoration of the channel's reputation and the popular TV presenter is expected to be a court of criminal liability.
Now in the premises of the television studio are shooting a movie of another channel. Savik Schuster does not lose optimism. According to Pavel Elizarova, the journalist writes a book, the presentation of which is expected at the end of the year.
