Mikhail Isaevich was born in September 1923 in Taganrog. Tanic is a creative poet's pseudonym, and the real name is Tanchelevich. Jews were father and ancestors over his line.

Death
On April 17, 2008, Mikhail Tanich felt bad. He has long suffered from a bouquet of chronic diseases: four operations on the heart, renal failure and oncology in the last stage. The poet was hospitalized on April 10. Natives hoped for recovery. Tanich dreamed of time to finish the last book of memoirs "playing music in the garden." In the hospital, Mikhail Isaevich, no longer able to write, the text dictated a few more days.On April 17, Mikhail Isaevich's heart stopped due to the complications received. The poet buried on the Vagankovsky cemetery. Now the memorable bronze sculpture of Ernst Unknown is established on the grave.
