Victoria Komova is a Russian gymnast, the owner of two silver medals of the London Olympiad (2012), a two-time world champion, European champion.
Victoria Aleksandrovna Komova was born on January 30, 1995 in Voronezh. Her sports biography was predetermined from birth, because Vika appeared in the family of sports gymnasts. Her father is a master of sports, mother - champion of the world and goodwill games, brother, too, gymnast. Victoria began to study from 5 years, the first lessons of gymnastics she received from Mom.
Two years later, Mom led Vika Komow to the Children's School of Olympic reserve in Voronezh. She was trained by Gennady Elfimov and Olga Bulgakov. Soon the girl had already advocated a sports school team at gymnastics competitions.
Gymnastics
Her gymnastic career in great sport began in 2007. Victoria Komova performed at the Mikhail Voronin Cup and bypassed rivals in a support jump and free exercises. In 2008, the gymnast had already performed at the Woga Classic tournament, which was held in the United States, and brought a bronze medal from there. In the same year, Komov, as part of the Russian gymnastic team, took part in the Massilia Cup and, according to the results of the competition, took 7th place in free exercises and the 11th in all-around.
In 2008, the athlete once again performed at the Voronin Cup and became the best. Next year, the gymnast brought a gold medal from the Olympic Sports Festival, held in Finland. In 2009, Victoria Komov fastened the title of the best, winning the Japan Cup and the Voronin Cup.
