Childhood and youth

Harran Bregovich's biography begins on March 22, 1950, when he was born in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). During one of the conversations with journalists, a man said about his father Fano, as a cold-blooded officer of the Yugoslav army, and about the mother - as an unusually beautiful woman, which is in the circle of loved ones, called Citz, although her boyfriend was called. Goran believes that he inherited nordic character from the Pope, and from Mom - perseverance.

Father has a Croatian, and mother - Bosnian roots. Based on these two facts, Bregovich concluded that by nationality he is Yugoslav, and it remains true to this conviction all his life.

Unfortunately, the joint life of Qice and Fano lasted long. When the musician was 10 years old, and prevail, his youngest brother, - 5, parents diverged. Little Goran stayed to live with her mother, and brother left to live to his father. Subsequently, Bregovich recorded the album "Alcohol", devoting him to his father, because the cause of the divorce was the addiction of a man to strong drinks.

Goran lived with his mother's boyfriend in Sarajevo, while his father and younger brother moved to the sieve. Fano worked there a barracks commandant. Despite the fact that the family was divided, the future composer visited the father and the younger brother every year.

As a child, Goran dreamed of becoming an artist, but the stories of the nurses of nurse are about the fact that one of the artistic gymnasium "Some Pederesses come," the mother plunged into shock. She banned the boy to come there. Instead, the son tried himself in music, but he was kicked out of a music school on the second year, arguing that he was the talentless and lazy.
