Julia Valentinovna Jim, who was born in 1990 in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev, did not accidentally hit the biathlon. The daughter decided to follow the example of his own parents. Her father is biathlonist Valentin Jim, who was remembered by participation in the 1994 Olympic Games held in the Norwegian Lillehammer. The daughter for the achievements surpassed the Father, including the Olympic Games. Mom Julia also in his youth engaged in this sport.
The girl grew up a cheerful child. The dream of athletes in childhood was buying a bicycle. In 2008, Jim became a student of Sumy State University, where he entered the Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications.
Biathlon

It cannot be said that Valentin Ivanovich was a full-fledged coach and conducted a full range of training, but at the beginning of the sports path of Julia, his advice and recommendations helped develop in the sporting plan.Family continuity in sports is common, but in the case of Jimoy everything could be different: the girl believed that the biathlete family was enough and need to choose another path in life. In training, the mother insisted, which did not like that Julia is too much motionless of drawing. In the youth selection of the biathlon, the girl quickly began to achieve success, first friends appeared, but in the junior career biathlete, at least any major results have reached.
People's peers thought that Jim was the name of the girl, not the last name. Julia Julia Jimmy or Jim Kerry was called judge. Girlfriends athletes became Yana Bondar and Valya Sevenko, with whom later biathlete fell into the Ukrainian team. Athlete coaches at one time were O. V. Kravchenko and N. A. Belov.

The first appearance in the national team of Julia was held in 2012 in Oberhof. The relay gold on the World Cup was conquered in Oberhof, and the first personal award came after a year, in the season 2012/2013, in the race by 15 km. Three times, Julia became the owner of a silver medal. Differenceing 289 points for the season, Jim took the 30th place in the overall standings. In a short time, Jim's promising biathlete turned into a real national team leader. On the eve of the Olympiad in Pyonchhan, it became known that Julia will enter the national team of Ukraine. The athlete was approved in the main composition along with Olga Abramova, Irina Varvinets, Anastasia Merbushina, Elena Pidgorchny, Valea and Vita Sevenko.
However, participation in the Olympic Games - 2018 for Julia was not so successful as many expected. At the very beginning of the game, the President of the Biathlon Federation of Ukraine Vladimir Brynzak said that Jim would not reach the Olympic Sprint and the Pursuit Racing. Allegedly she wants to focus on an individual race and mass start.
The fact is that everyone was sure: the girl will pass into the mass start by the World Cup quota. She was the 16th, and the Russian woman Ekaterina Jurlov-Perht disqualified. Consequently, Julia Jim fell into the top 15. But the quota was reduced to 14 seats, and the Ukrainian woman did not get into the mass start. And in the individual race she managed to finish only the 20th.
Then a serious scandal flared around her. Her colleague on the team of Valya Sevenko accused the coaching staff in the fact that athletes showing athletes showing lower results than she.

But in May 2018, he gave an interview in which he reported that he decided to prepare for the season at the Urosha Trepetz as part of the national team of Slovenia. But about the romantic relationship with the coach of an unequivocal answer did not give. She said that everyone has his own truth, whatever she answers now. The athlete just made sure that she had enough ill-wishers.
In 2018, Julia became the first at the World Cup stage in Slovenia (Pokletuk). A prize room brought an individual race. And in 2019 in Ostersund (Sweden), Jim became the same 2nd and 4th in the relay.
In 2020, at the stage of the World Cup in Rupleolding, the biathlete has descended from the distance. The most favorable place (8) in the persecution race among Ukrainians occupied Vita Sevenko. The prizes got: Tyryl Ekchoft (Norway), Paulina Phialova (Slovakia) and Hanna Eberg (Sweden).
In 2020, at the European Championship, the biathlonist won a gold medal as part of the Ukrainian team. Her colleagues became Valentina Seven, Dmitry Pidrum and Artem Prima.
In the 2020/2021 season of the World Cup, Jim took silver at the 7th stage in Antereselva (Antholz), lifting only Louise Hauser from Austria. She is the only one who beat without mishai at all 4 borders. Prior to this, the biathlete entered the top ten: on the 1st (Contiolahti, individual race) and on the 5th (Oberhof, Sprint) stages. Jim studies English, but at press conferences rarely use these knowledge, preferring to communicate in Ukrainian or Russian languages.
The fans of Julia are waiting, especially the male half of them, when the athlete appears on the covers of such magazines as "playboy" or Maxim. However, according to biathletes, it is unlikely that it will be decided on a frank photo session, but in social networks the girl sometimes shares a photo in a swimsuit.
