Biography
Vladimir Vladimirovich Bortko appeared on May 7, 1946 in Moscow. Soon the family of the future director moved from the first-hearth to Kiev. The parents of Volodya (the famous director of the Moscow Theater named after Gogol, Odessa Russian, Kursk and Volgograd Dramatic Theaters Vladimir Bortko and the actress named after I. Franco in Kiev Marina Zakharenko) were creative people, with strong ambiguous characters. Their marriage, unfortunately, quickly collapsed.
The childhood and youth of Volodya passed in Kiev, here he entered the geological exploration technique. After the end of the technical school at the age of 19, Vladimir went to the army. As long as the son was in the army, Marina Zakharenko married the second time. The chosen one of the actresses was a lot of older than her, the Ukrainian writer and playwright Alexander Korechuk.
After serving, Vladimir Bortko in 1966 returned home. Relations with a new stepfather of the guy were unevenly, men were constantly arguing, and the Soviet government and her acts were the stumbling block. In his youth, Bortko was an enemy of the Communists and the Soviet system, which, however, is not surprising, after all, his grandfather, too, Vladimir, was shot in the infamous 1937.
After the army, Vladimir Bortko, three years worked for a technician-electrician in the "Military Project", then entered the Kiev Institute of Theatrical Art. Having studied in the workshop of Rodion Efimenko, in 1974 Volodya graduated from the institute and entered the Dovzhenko Film Study.
Cinema and TV.
At first, Borkko worked on a film studio as an assistant director, then became director-director. In 1975, he removed the first film "Channel" (the graduation work was preceded by this - the "Doctor" short film). Both paintings were marked by the prizes of domestic film festivals. Three years later, the "Investigation Commission" was published, with such mothers actors as Oleg Efremov, Evgeny Lebedev and Irina Miroshnichenko.
In 1980, Vladimir Bortko moves to Leningrad, replacing the name of Dovzhenko's native film studio at Lenfilm. Since then, the director has taken away a lot of outstanding films, who earned not only the love of the public and the recognition of critics, but also awards of international film festivals.

Even against the background of such fruitful activities and the public glory, the main work of Bortko in the eyes of millions of viewers is still its "doggy heart" on Bulgakov. In his post, she repeatedly expressed rather radical opinions, while arguing that the future of our country was for socialism. So, the director aroused a special outrage of opponents, proposing to change the wording of one of the constitutional laws, replacing the words about the "multinational Russian people" on the "Russian people and joined him." V.V. Putin answered the deputy that it was impossible, since in our state there are no people of the first and second grade.
The director has repeatedly exalted the personal qualities and merits of Stalin, calling it "perhaps the most obtant person in the whole twentieth century." Also Borthko acted as one of the initiators of the Antipiratian Law on the Protection of Copyright, including the Internet, supported Putin's President's policy towards Crimea and Ukraine.
With Vladimir Posner, the leading telecast of the same name, Vladimir Bortko "closed" in the lively not so much on political as in literary issues. Posner simply noticed that Bortko, defending his political position, attributes the words of one of the characters of Dostoevsky himself Fedor Mikhailovich, without making differences between the convictions of the Great Writer and his heroes.
