Career
Its first company in the field of IT Viktor Prokopenya founded in 2001. VIADEN MEDIA was engaged in creating applications for mobile devices, which then actively penetrated the market. The company has created such well-known applications as All-In Fitness, Smart Alarm Clock and Yoga.com, as well as many mobile games whose audience has more than 40 million people. In total, on the account VIADEN MEDIA more than 100 applications. In 2012, Victor Prokopenya sold the company that was divided into Sport.com and Skywind Group.
The next project, which was launched by Victor Prokopenya, was the company EXP (Capital), developing unique products for high-frequency market mecking financial instruments. Startup, founded in 2012, quickly became successful and received recognition from the professional community. This is confirmed by numerous awards received by the company: "The Best IT Entrepreneur of the Year" from Tut.by (2013), "Break Through" from Golden Gate (2014), "The Best It Company to Work for" (2014), "TOP 15 START-UPS IN BELARUS" from Dev.BY (2014).
By 2017, the company went up to the state of 70 employees and has offices in the Republic of Belarus, Great Britain and Cyprus.
In its interest in the sphere of high technology, Viktor Prokopenya went even further and decided to invest in the most advanced developments around the world. To do this, he created a VP Capital - an international investment company with a focus on the technological sector. The company's portfolio has already several large projects that it finances together with the Larnabel Ventures Foundation of the Gutseriev family, a cooperation agreement with which was achieved in 2016. The total volume of alleged investments will be more than 100 million dollars.
Among the projects financed by Viktor Prokopeny and the Gutseriev family, product development based on artificial intelligence technology, augmented reality, neural networks, as well as launch 9 satellites for orbital shooting. Personal life
Victor Prokopenya is married and raises his son. In his free time, he is engaged in photography and diving, plays hockey and rides on a snowboard. In addition, the businessman is engaged in patient activities and sponsors educational programs.
