The biography of the future idol of several generations began on average in the size of the city of Melbourne, located in the US state of Florida, December 8, 1943. His father became George Morrison, in the future he received the title of admiral, and his mother - Clara Morrison, in the Maiden Clark. Parents gave the famous Irish son, English and Scottish roots, although the childhood of the boy and passed in the States. Jim was not the only child in the family: George and Clara also had a daughter Ann and Son Andrew.
From the young Youth, Morrison Jr. never ceased to admire school teachers with the mind (the level of IQ of the musician was 149). At the same time, he knew how to charm the surrounding, placing to himself. Musical career
During his studies in both universities, Jim Morrison did not know too much. In the case of the State University of Florida, he compiled Bosch's creativity, studied the history of Renaissance and studied the acting game. In California University, he studied cinematography, but it was all the background for him rather than the first plan. Jim managed in all objects due to the high level of intelligence, but he preferred alcohol and parties to study.

Not only the parents did not see a successful creative person in Jim. As a graduation work at the end of UCLA, he had to remove his own film. The team was founded by Jim Morrison and Raem Manzarek, who joined the drummer John Densum and his friend Guitarist Robbie Cryger. The name of the group, in the style of Morrison, was borrowed from the title of the book: "The Doors of Perception" is the work of Oldhos Huxley, known due to its anti -taopic novel "On the wonderful new world".
