Bakhtiyar Mamedov was born (so in fact the name of the artist) on September 29, 1993. It happened in Kazakhstan, in the family of a native of Azerbaijan and Kazakhs by nationality from the genus Nimanov. From the early years, the parents instilled in Bakhtiyar the love of good music and cinema, which further significantly affected the artist's work.
In 2000, the boy went to school with a linguistic bias (in-depth study of English), where he met those who later became part of the first Mamedov musical group. In 2005, parents gave Bakhtiyar to the Alma-Ata music school so that he studied the game on the saxophone. At first, this idea did not please the boy, but over time he realized that knowledge of the basics of music would come in handy in the future.
The decision was true - after a year, together with the friends of Baha, he became interested in American rap (in particular, the creativity of the onyx group and RPER DMX), and then decided to collect a home studio of sound recording. It was recorded by the first tracks of Jah Khalib, in which it went, of course, about love.
However, seriously, Mamedov decided to make music only after 5 years. Against Bakhtiyar continued his vocational education in the Kazakhstan National Conservatory at the Department of Compositions and Art Management. At the same time, Baha did the first steps in the Sound production and writing tool.
His creativity was favorably distinguished from what the most self-taught bitmeters did, so the question of fame in the right circles was the matter of time. After a couple of years, Mamedov already worked with Kazakhstani rappers of the first magnitude. Then the thought arose to resume raperal activities. For this, Bakhtiyar picked up a scenic pseudonym, under which everything is known to him today - Jah Khalib. The first serious breakthrough was the track "Let's fly away", who fell into rotation on the radio in 2013.
Music
Mamedov played a big role in the fame of Mamedov, in particular "VKontakte", but this would not have happened if the songs of Bakhtiyar were not really good. As the performer himself says, his main task is to convey to the listeners the necessary emotions with the help of songs. And it turns out.Starting from the first tracks, Mamedov breaks through the leading lines of the charts at first Kazakhstan, and after Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. The number of posts in Vkontakte with its songs and quotes of them grow up in geometric progression.
Thanks to this, Jah Khalib lit up several times in the Kazakhstani publication of Forbes magazine: In 2015 and 2016, Khalibanija Dushi albums were mentioned and "All we love." The first serious concerts and speeches on corporate stands begin.
In 2016, another album coming out, which became hit from the very first days of release, - "If what, I'm Baha," the tracks "Angel's Constellation", "Torn the dress" and others become the leaders on downloads from iTunes. In the same year, "co-associates" appeared with other performers, including the ILO, L'One, Bestseller Roma and others.

Nevertheless, in an interview with Yuri Dudu, Jah Khalib called some composers and performers who influenced his work: Raymond Pauls and Muslim Magomayev, James Brown and Ray Charles, Timballand and Sting. By the way, a separate story is connected with sting: a melody from Desert Rose British was used as a reference track when writing a "Leila" song, it is noticeable with a consistent listening to these compositions.
Bakhtiyar remains a true patriot of his homeland, so I supported the idea of director Aisultan Seitov to create an epic clip on the song "Medina". The scenes were filmed in the conditions of harsh steppe winters, and professional casciders cooperating with Hollywood became participants in the process. For the execution of the train, Mamedov was awarded the Golden Gramophone Prize.
