Alexander Efimovich was born on July 2, 1961 in Kiev. The mother of producer, Larisa Zinovievna, was the director of the film studio "Contact", and Father, Efim Naumovich, worked there by the same engineer. Due to the specifics of the parents' work, the future member of the American Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences lived with grandfather Zinoviy Borisovich Rodniansky, who was the chief editor of the film studio of the documentary films of Ukraine.
From the biography of the media agent, it is known that in the youth he graduated from the Faculty of Faculty of Faculty of Kynorezhissary of the Kiev Institute of theatrical Art named after Ivan Karpenko-Karog. About the personal life of the producer is known little. For many years, Alexander Efimovich is happy in marriage with his wife Valeria.
