Alexander Sklyar was born in Moscow on March 7, 1958. Brought up in the family of intellectuals: Felix Sidorovich Felix is a physicist's scientist, Mother Irina Viktorovna is a journalist. He was the only child in the family. He studied at the school named after L.I. Milgra. In his youth was fond of sports - played football, volleyball, engaged in karate, got the first digit on swimming. He dedicated a lot of time to the mountain skiing, but, having received injury in training and laying two months with a broken foot, decided to leave the sport.

He finished high school with honors, so I decided to enter international economic relations in MGIMO. Music
Upon returning from the DPRK, Alexander Sklyar got a job as an artistic director in the House of Culture at the Institute. Kurchatov. He approached his work with great enthusiasm, he often organized concerts with the participation of rock-groups known at that time: "Cinema", "Bravo", "Center", "Alice".
Even before departure to North Korea, he and Vasily Nozov organized the rock band "777", which later received the name "Center", but it happened when Sklyar left Moscow. Therefore, organizing rock concerts, including the Center for the Center, Alexander himself dreamed of singing on stage and swim in the appellations of the audience.
On March 4, 1986, SCLEX collected the first composition of his own group, which gave the name "Va-Bank". The classic composition of the group was formed in the summer of 1986: Alexander Sklyar, Alexey Nikitin, Igor Egor Nikonov, Robert "Grandfather" Redernovna, Alexander Malikov and Uncle Vova Rodzianko.
"Va-Bank" became the first group, which was able to go abroad to the Festival "Rob Regiga" in Warsaw. And in 1988, they recorded the album in Finland, which was also a novelty for domestic rock bands.
In the mid-1990s, Sklyar decided to do a solo career. One of the significant works of Slag was a joint project with Garica Sukachev "Boatsman and Tragging". In 1997, a collection of folk and Soviet songs "On the sea of tanks rumbled" - the album includes the song of Sklaira "Young Sailor". In 2008, Alexander F. In addition to music, Alexander is engaged in writing activities. In 2014, he published his own book "In Search of Eldorado". It includes his poems, several prosaic "pieces", passages from his personal memoirs. As a result, five books about the adventures of Petrovich and Patapum came out from under their common pen, the circulation exceeded one million two hundred thousand copies.
In the early 1990s, the musician led the author's radio program "Learning to swim" on the radio "Maximum". It was the only transmission at that time dedicated to alternative and heavy music.
