Due to problems with the right eye, the hope of coming from a rifle with a special butt created specifically for it. The future champion was born in St. Petersburg on March 27, 1985. The girl grew in a big family: Hope has four sisters and two brothers. According to Mother, the children were very friendly among themselves and "helped parents", the elders looked at the younger. The great-grandfather athletes on the father's line was by the Italian nationality, and the father's father is German. The biathlonist itself believes that in its character more daddy damn - emotionality and terrain.
The interest in Sports from Scardino appeared at an early age - in childhood, at the age of 7, she seriously engaged in skiing and planned a sports career. However, as it turned out later, life prepared for hope a little different.
In 2004, during sports fees, Nadezhda met with Belarusian biathletes. Athletes jokingly offered a girl to try to shoot. The offer was fateful: Scardino did not release the rifle from the hands and changed the sport, starting to engage in biathlon.
However, on the way to the Olympic height, the girl was waiting for a surprise. It turned out that in Russia there are too many biathletes wishing to get into the national team. Therefore, hope, without thinking, brought the invitation of Belarusian coaches to join the national team of Belarus. The athlete moved to Minsk, and a completely new page opened in her biography.
Biathlon
Career biathletes for Scardino began with junior competitions. The girl showed excellent results and already in 2005 brought the first medals in the premises of the national team: Hope won a prize in the race with a mass start and two silver (in the sprint and rush). The 2005/2006 season is marked by the victory in the IBU Cup, which allowed the athlete to take a place at the heart of the Belarusian national team.However, the first adult World Cup did not meet expectations of hope: biathlete managed to score only 11 points and take the 70th place in the overall standings. Failure did not upset the athlete, on the contrary, forced to train and improve. And for two years later, in the 2009-2010 season, Scardino ranked 8th at the stage of the World Cup (in that year the competition was held in Slovenian Pokluk). And another year later she brought the Belarusian team two bronze medals.
The following sports season was unsuccessful for hope: biathletes began with vision problems. She had to postpone the operation. Fortunately, everything went without complications, and in the sprint of the season 2012/2013 Scardino won a bronze reward at the World Cup.
In the 2013/2014 season, the main achievement of the athlete was the world record for the accuracy of firing.
Biathlon's career flourished 2014 is the year of the Sochi Olympic Games. This season, she climbed 4 times to the honorary pedestal of the World Cup and took the Olympic "bronze", becoming the third in individual arrival. The name of Nadezhda Scardino became known even outside the sports party, and the photo of the athlete appeared, perhaps, in every sports publication.
At the end of the 2014/2015 season, the biathlete took part in the champions race (Tyumen), where an unpleasant event happened. During the transfer in a mixed relay - her partner was Martin Fourcad - Yevgeny Garanichev crashed into an athlete and dropped it. As a result of the fall, the rifle cracked and the time was lost and, as a result, victory. Then Ekaterina Yurlova and Anton Shipulin were won.
The Russian made a covering not specifically, it was cut by a fourcade, confusing his partner with Daria Duracheva - the biathletes had the same overalls. Later, Martin brought apologized for his sharp maneuver. In 2015, the Belarusian team won silver and bronze at the World Cup stages, and a year later, in 2016, Nadezhda Scardino received a gold medal, becoming the best in the pursuit of the European Championship, which took place in Tyumen. In addition, the athlete won the title of the best sniper in the female biathlon, "rolling" 17 races without a single mishai.
2017 replenished the piggy bank awards of Hope Scardino: in the first stage of the World Cup (the competition was held in the Swedish city of Ostersund) the athlete won gold, leaving behind the rivals on the individual race. Recall: silver went to the Norwegian biathlete of Sunnev Suledal, and 3rd place was taken by Julia Jim, a representative of Ukraine.
In one of the interviews, the athlete stated that, perhaps, this season will be completing in her career. Hope emphasized that she reached border age for professional sports and is already thinking about decent leaving biathlon.
In 2018, Nadezhda received a "Small Crystal Globe" for the individual race in the World Cup. And she became a gold medalist of the relay in Pyonchhan - the Olympic champion.

Personal life
In his free time, Nadezhda scardino loved to travel around the world, discovering foreign countries.
