Nevertheless, sporting character was not broken, and a year later, in January 2011, Alena Zavarzina conquers the Gold Medal of the World Championship, participating in the descent on snowboarding on a parallel giant slalom. For this and other merits in their homeland, the title of "Honored Master of Sports of Russia" is awarded.
Now the newly important athlete was to prepare for the second Olympiad. For the entire Russian national team, it was special, because 2014 competitions were held in Russia, in Sochi.
But, of course, the path to victory is not simple. Alena faced serious injuries. At first before the start of the training season, the hernia of the spine appeared. Her doctor was treated for the figure skating team, which was also engaged in the health problems of Yevgeny Plushenko. By winter, the boular was better. 2 months remained before the Olympics. The relationships of the couple developed rapidly, and 4 months after the start of the dates, Vic and Alena got married. The wedding was played in the summer of 2011 in the hometown of the bride of Novosibirsk. At the same time, Vic got not only Russian wife, but also thought about Russian citizenship.
A year later athlete received a new passport, where "Viktor Ivanovich Wilde" was written by Russian letters. The last name of the new citizen of Russia did not translate, otherwise she would sound like "wild."
Since then, Vic and Alena began to live together and prepare for the Olympiad in Sochi. They both represented Russia in competitions and both brought a medal country.
