Vadim Vitalyevich Motalev (real name of Rapper Sliema) was born in Moscow on January 21, 1981. Your family musician does not advertise. Music
To start a serious musical career, Vadim needed a comrade and like-minded person who became the same novice rapper, familiar to the public under the pseudonym Lexus. At the end of 1996, friends recorded their first song called "Stone Jungle." Considering that these were the first steps of guys in show business, and the financial position of both left the best, the authors of words and music were they themselves, and the recording of the composition was held on an illegal recording studio "meaning of life."
"Stone jungle" entered the collection of Russian hip-hop music "Just Rap" from Rap Recordz. Then the name of the young smoke curtain group appeared. Beginner rapeurs are not easy to compete in the rigid world of the Russian show business, so soon Slim and Lexus entered a major hip-hop formation of "dense". In 1997, the "Dremuki" came out the first album with the participation of Slim "183".
In parallel with the work in the Alliance, the guys continue to write texts and music for the album "Smoke curtains". The first of their disk called "Without contraception ..." was released only in 2000, which is due, according to media information, with drug problems from the guys. In the creation of the album, then the popular performer Dolphin was participating - the guys worked with one sound engineer.
The unusual and even revolutionary sound of the tracks from the first album "Smoke Curtain" attracted attention to the musicians - they had fans not only in Moscow, but also in other cities of Russia. The guys began to give concerts in clubs, interviews on radio stations and appeared on the covers of fashionable youth magazines.
Three years later, the second album "Chimney curtain" called "You wanted truth?". When creating tracks, Slim and Lexus moved from experimental to the classic Rap. When the disk was on sale, no one doubted the group's success. Then Slim met GUF. Young people looked at each other creative potential, which resulted in a jointly recorded track "Wedding", which became the third album "Smoke curtain" called "Explosive Device".
Since 2004, a small break has come in the work of the "smoke curtain. Lexus with his head went into a family life, and Slim decided to try himself in a new project "Centr". Nevertheless, the creative break did not mean the collapse of the group - the next album "floors" guys were released in 2006. AndGUND tracks from this album brought to performers a new wave of popularity.
Although "floors" and became the last album of the "smoke curtain", the group existed for another three years: the guys gave concerts in clubs, where another popular hip-hop performer David Nuriev, who speaking under the pseudonym of Pthaha joined them.
During this period, SLIM fully focused on the new project "Centr" together with the previously familiar guf and Ptaha. In 2007, the first album of the team "Swing" was published. Despite the fact that the lentimet of the disk was the topic of drug use, and the tracks themselves often contained obscene vocabulary, the composition "City of Roads" from the "Kackel" album ranked first in the ranking of the musical prize for achievements in the field of modern music and the development of the Russian show business industry TV channel MTV-Russia. By the way, the name of the album "Swing" on slang means a narcotic mix of cocaine and heroin.
The second album of the broadcast group "Ether is normal" has become the best in 2008 in the ranking of the Russian RAP portal. As a result, he received the status of a gold disk, published a circulation of 50 thousand copies. A year later, GUF left the group to start a solo career, and Slim was recorded a solo album without leaving the CENTR.
Simultaneously with the release of Disk Vadim Motyleva "Cold" rapper removed the clip to the composition of the same name. The video clip remained on top of the ratings for several more months after the album exit. And at a concert in support of the album Slim spoke together with Lexus, performing additionally several old tracks from the repertoire of the Smoke Curtain.
Without refusing anything from the "smoke curtain", nor from the "center", nor from the solo career, in 2011, Slim released a joint work with the "Constant" team called "Azimut", and after five months later, the album "Legends about ... Centr" came out which is the result of the collaboration of the two Moscow rap groups of the same name. The versatile and bright work of Slim helped him to achieve the title of "Artist of the Year" in 2012. And in the summer of the same year, the musician launched a new plate "Saint-Tropez", the clip "The girl" from which was hit by Youtube's rating as one of the most successful. The video clip on the "Center" and "Caspian cargo" track called "Gudini" also used.
Personal life
Vadim's biography and family life, unlike colleagues in the scene, tries to keep secret.
Spouse Raper Elena Motyleva also does not apply to personal life. It is only known that the couple has a son, whose photo Mothale has published on a personal page in "Instagram".
Slim now
Despite the obvious success, in May 2016, the Russian rap group, speaking at the concert venue in Frankfurt am Main, announced the completion of the career. Despite the conflict between Sliem and GUF in 2010, in the summer of 2017, the musicians released a joint album "Gusli". However, SLIM does not stop on the achieved and continues to expand the horizons of its creativity. In July 2017, the Ice plate came out. Part 2 of the Russian-German Schokk (or Ya) rapper (or ya), which included a composition recorded in conjunction with Slim.
