Real Name Basota - Timur Chelyanov. The artist's childhood was not easy. Timur was born on December 22, 1995 in the city of Bronnitsa of the Moscow region. When the boy was still small, at the age of two he received a strong burn with boiling water and subsequently suffered several complex operations. The homely atmosphere was not the best, parents conflicted, and after a while they all divorced. To protect the Son from finding out the relationship between adults, Mom sent Timur for the time to Grandma in Ryazan.
When the family passions were dull, Timur returned to his mother. After a new man, a new man appeared in the family named Vadim, who replaced the boyfoot boy. He was kind and caring towards Timur and the new spouse. The family healed happily.
At 7 years old Timur went to school with a physico-mathematical bias. He studied well and after the end of the school he recalled the school with warm words. In an interview with Basota talks about what a friendly class was, and he studied without much effort and with interest.
The main tests for the side of the guy fell at all from the school. In a row, there were three deaths in a row: First, the favorite Uncle Timur left, then he did not become a grandfather, and the tragic death of his beloved stepfather Vadim became the main blow - he crashed in a car accident.

To somehow recover from life shocks and losses of loved ones, Timur begins to actively get involved in music. He meets the work of Eminem, 50 CENT, GUFA and CENTR. As Timur himself admits, at that time he was 11 years old, and he did not always understand the meaning of all lines, but he was very hooked by the supply of material, as well as honesty and straightness of texts. Then he begins to write his own rhymes and create tracks from them.
He recorded his first Timur songs at home, and the result of the work was laid out on the social network. When the guy was 13 years old, the already famous rapper Ptah was drew attention to his text. The senior colleague invited Timur to the Central Tsao Studio to record a joint track.
At the same time, at the studio, other mast rappers gave him a nickname Schake, as Timur was still very young and against the background of the rest of the performers looked in childish. But after time, the guy writes a song called "Basota" - so the new pseudonym pasted it, which now became the second name.
Since then, Basota began to be at the Central Cao Studio, and in parallel to study at school. At the end of the secondary school, he had a strong conflict with a rapper Slim. It came to the point that Slim offered to exclude Basoto from "Cao", but the guy left himself - he decided to continue his education in Austria.
There lived and studied by his friend through which Timur found out that studying in another country would cost him cheaper than getting paid education in Moscow, and besides, a less strict demand for the deadlines for passing sessions. The decision was made, and the Basota went to learn "for the Borny".
But there were no two months as Timur returned to Russia and continued to engage in creativity. By that time, they had already written many tracks, in 2012 the performer is starting to record the first solo album "From the inside". It includes 17 compositions, among which "before spring", "when I leave", "fall asleep", "kipish", "Bardak" and others.
In 2014, there is a second RPER album called "EX. Schoolboy". In the framework of it, 5 songs were recorded, including "My Rock", "from pure sheet", "re-" and "Vlad Shalov". And on the song "The Star of David" in 2015, a video was released, which VMIG became megapopular. A little later, the rapper releases a new hit - "dust on dust".
The texts of his songs are sad and places gloomy, the performer affects them the vital problems and questions. At the same time, the voice of Rapper is soft, pleasant, and, although the age of bassota has long passed for a 28th mark, reminds teenage.
