Sergey Plotnikov - the pride of the Russian national hockey team. The striker of the St. Petersburg club "SKA" carries the title of Honored Master of Sports and World Champion. Sergey played in the Continental Hockey League, presenting the Khabarovsky "Amur" first, and then the "Lokomotiv" team from Yaroslavl. Also in his sports career was the experience of the game "For the Bugger" - in the prestigious NHL as a player of the teams "Pittsburgh Penguins" and "Arizona Coyotes".Childhood and youth
Sergey was born on June 3, 1990 in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. His parents were not associated with sports in the profession, but Father Sergey (in honor of him and called the Son) at the amateur level played hockey and football. Sergey younger led to a skating rink at a very early age - in 5 years he had already confidently standing on skates and kept the club.
Since professional hockey teams did not exist in the city, Sergey just practiced in the section, but he really liked this sport. When the boy studied in the second class of high school, in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, young hockey players from Khabarovsk arrived in the Amateur competition. With them was coach Sergey Kurmeche. He noticed the "feeding hope" carpenter.
When Sergey was 9 years old, a complex and responsible decision was made - he was released in Khabarovsk at the invitation of the Curmeche Hockey Club coach. Parents were not easy to parents, especially worried Mom, but his father insisted that the son seriously dedicated himself to sports.
As Sergey himself admits in an interview, then he had to be not easy. In someone else's city, one, he lived first in the boarding school, then "roamed" on the apartments of distant relatives, teammates, sometimes lived at the coach. Study at school went to the background, in the first place was hockey.
Hockey
First, Sergey played as part of Amur-2. In the first years, the novice hockey player did not show big results on the ice, so he was not invited to the youth team. True, the striker succeeded in the 2007-2008 season, then Sergey was called to play for the club "Ermak" for a year, and after he entered the main staff of "Amur".
In September 2011, a terrible tragedy occurred - a plane crashed with the main composition of the Lokomotiv Hockey Club from Yaroslavl. Hockey players died, their coaches and accompanying staff. This terrible event was difficult to survive, but time is coming, and in 2012 the club management began to type a new composition. Among the invited was Sergey Carpenters. The athlete so remembers this time:
"It was not easy to equip, to establish life. Feeling and pressure due to the tragedy that happened to the team. I just tried not to think about it. When they went to the first match, they declared a minute of silence. It was the hardest moment. "By that time, the hockey player had already led a confident game, showed himself well in the "Lokomotiv" matches. As a result, the carpenter was taken to the Russian national team. He performed at the match of the KHL stars, and in 2014 he went to submit a country to the World Cup in Minsk. There, Russian hockey players won a confident victory and won gold medals.
The coaching staff estimates Sergey as an assertive and high-speed attack that performs the tales on the goal. As a midfielder, he rather evaluates the situation on ice and knows how to make a right decision in a second fraction of a second.
After the victory in the world championship Sergey Plotnikov, like his teammate, was awarded the title of "Honored Master of Sports". Also, the athlete received a reward - "Order of Honor." At the same time, a tempting offer from foreign colleagues to play NHL was enrolled. The contract with the Yaroslavl "locomotive" has not yet been completed. Agreeing on the proposal of the Americans, the hockey player bought out the "unfinished" time in the Russian club and went to the United States.
There he played first as part of the "Pittsburgh Penguins" team, and then moved to the club "Arizona Coyotes". Something was not asked, and Sergey could not show the high results of the game in the NHL. There was even a period when he was not at all released on the ice.
At the same time in 2015, carpenters in the Russian national team flew to the next hockey world championship held in the Czech Republic. Apparently, patriotic feelings at the athlete is stronger than the desire to express themselves on American ice, as part of the Russian team Sergey showed himself in the best way, and players won silver championship.
In May 2016, he flew to Russia to speak again as part of the country's national team at the World Championship, which was held in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Russian hockey players occupied the third place by losing to the teams of Canada and Finland, but the United States team beat 7: 2 teams.
Motherland Sergey received a proposal from the SKA Hockey Club from St. Petersburg, which he gladly accepted. In the 2016-2017 season, carpenters already played the St. Petersburg club. In the spring of 2017, he again went on the fourth world championship for himself.
This time the tournament was held immediately in two countries: France and Germany. Having a series of games, the champion title won the Swedish team, leaving with "silver" hockey players from Canada. And the team from Russia occupied, as in 2016, the third place, this time, beating Finns with a score of 5: 3.
Personal life
Living and training in Khabarovsk, Sergey met a girl named Maria. At that time she was a student, studied for a marketer. For several years, the couple met, and when it was time to move to Yaroslavl, hockey player made a beloved sentence.
Now Sergey and Maria husband and wife. When the carpenter was invited to NHL, the spouse went after him, and after a couple returned to Russia. Maria tries not to miss a single her husband's game, closely communicates with wives and companions of other athletes. In 2016, the girl entered the top 10 of the most beautiful wives of hockey players.

Sergey with his wife live in St. Petersburg, often fly to Khabarovsk and in Komsomolsk-on-Amur to visit parents. Does not forget the hockey player and its first coach Sergey Kurmeche, who opened his way in a big sport.
