At the Winter Olympics in Innsbruck in the 1976th athlete from Komi, the world champion: two years earlier, Raisa Smetanin in Swedish Falun won gold and silver.
The Russian skier started not bad: the Finnish athlete missed the 5-kilometer distance. But in the 10-kilometer race and on the relay, the gold medals won 2 for the country 2 in the sports biography.
