Paco Raban was born on February 18, 1934 in the city of Pasai, in the Basque Country. At birth, he received the name of Francisco Rabeneda-I-Kuervo. When the civil war began in Spain, his father - Red General - spoke on the Republican's side and in 1939 was shot by supporters of Franco.
The mother was an atheism and a convinced communist and consisted of the Central Committee of the Spanish Communist Party.
