Childhood and youth

Artem was born in Moscow on March 5, 1921. His mother was the Reline Elizabeth Lvovna, in his youth - a member of the Kharkov revolutionary events, after the death of her husband - the chief physician founded by her anti-tuberculosis sanatorium, located near Nalchik, then the head of the medical department of hospitals.
