However, having received a secondary education, Gusel suddenly decided to go in the footsteps of the second grandfather and entered the Faculty of Foreign Philology of the State Pedagogical Institute in Kazan. At the same time, from childhood, Guzel dreamed of learning in the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography named after S. A. The creative path of Guzel Yakhina began in the early 2000s, after moving to Moscow. Although work in the advertising business and took a lot of time and effort, in the evenings and on the weekend of the Gusel wrote small stories, then for themselves.

At the same time Gusel began to write a novel, who later brought her a number of literary awards and a lot of fans. When the work on the book ended, Jahina faced a number of difficulties in search of publications for the publication of the Roman: no one wanted to contact the unknown public with a novice author.
Separate chapters of the work of "Zuulikha opens eyes" were published in the monthly literary magazine "Siberian Lights" in order to interest readers and attract the attention of publishers.
