Sergey "Chizh" was born on February 6, 1961 in Dzerzhinsk of the Nizhny Novgorod region. In school, he began to perform on the substitution in different musical groups with his elder brother. Sergey graduated from a music school, after which he entered the music school.

The group managed to write several albums, one of which ("Bugi Kharkov") was fully written by Sergey Chiigark. The record at the time of release did not become popular, and six years later found his listeners. Then the first hits then wrote: "Korotusha" and "I want tea."

In 1993, Sergey decided to write a solo album. Boris Greeschikov helped him morally, and inspired the musician for this step Andrei Burlak and Igor Berezovets. The album came out simply under the name "Chizh". To record the plates, the musicians from other Russian rock bands were invited - N. Brasnin, A. Brovko, M. Chernova and others.

In the same year, the group was replenished with another member - the keyboard player Evgeny Barinov.

All team musicians participated in foreign projects freely, recorded solo albums and performed as part of other teams. For example, Guitarist Vladimirov recorded the solo plate "revealing and in a dream".

In 1997, the group decided to devote his creativity to parents. They recorded the album, which included a cover version of Soviet hits. "Chizh and Co." shot two clips on the songs "under the stars of the Balkansky" and "bombers". In the same album, they entered their hit "On the field tanks rumbled ..."

In the spring of 1998, the team went with a concert to Israel. There they recorded another album - "New Jerusalem". It entered Hits "For Two", "Russian Matroso", "Phantom" and many others. Also this year the team recorded a new collection of songs "The best blues and ballads"

In the fall, "Chizh and Co." went to America to speak at the club "Astoria" for their American fans. After they gave an acoustic concert specifically for the show on the BBC radio. Later, this entry was released as a concert album "at 20:00 Greenwich".

The whole next year the team spent, touring the country. They went beyond twice abroad. In 2000, the team also toured a lot, they flew in the US again, then Israel. Musicians developed their solo projects, Sergei recorded a joint album with Alexander Chernetsky.

2001 was happy for fans of Chija, because the chiographs finally recorded the solo album "Gaide I will!". The album is unique, because the artist himself performed all the musical parties, sang himself. He did not attract any musicians or producers to work.

The group continues to tour in the country. Each of their performance collects anchlage. The guys act as on large sites, and give concerts in clubs, where they communicate with fans after speeches, make photos and distribute autographs.

In 2002, "Chizh and Co." surprised their fans and attracted attention to the team, going to tour in the Polarian. The terrain impressed the musicians. After the trip, Sergey recorded the new composition "Blues on piles".

In the fall, the team went to America again, there they spent a couple of months, speaking throughout the southern coast. It is worth noting that not only compatriots living there came to their concerts, but also ordinary Americans who are loving Russian Rock.

A year later, the group expanded his geography of the tour and went to conquer Canada. Everyone knows that in Canada, one of the largest Russian diaspora lives, so the team was adopted perfectly, despite the fact that the group did not perform in full. Part of the musicians received a refusal of a visa.

2004 The group announced the year of acoustic music. They went to a tour without an electric guitar, configuring all songs at concerts exclusively in acoustic style. Musicians toured a lot around the world. The soloist of the group recorded several compositions in the blues genre with dark-skinned Americans in the United States. The team first went to the east, giving a concert in Singapore.

In the same year, the Group celebrated his first anniversary - the team was ten years old. On this occasion, they gave two large concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Favorite hits and compositions of the group friends sounded from the scene, who came to congratulate "Chizh and Co.".

For several years, the team participants recorded solo albums, participated in the records of albums of other groups. Everyone was engaged in creativity, but together the musicians were not going.
