Russian rock culture is difficult to imagine without the team of "sounds mu". This group was the main star of the Soviet rock-underground. Musicians managed to harmoniously unite the Bunctory Chords of Punk Rock with melodious folk motifs and dashing hooligan texts, which made their creativity unique and unforgettable.The history of creation and composition
Peter Mamonov, the founder of the "sounds of mu", from childhood was not indifferent to music. He played in the school group called "Express", with hobby mastered the game guitar and dreamed of the glory of the rock musician. However, this dream was far from right away: Peter managed to master not one profession, from the lifter to the translator, before returned to the children's hobby.
The history of the ensemble began in 1981 - at that time, Mamonov was already 30 years old. The musician together with the school friend Alexander Lipnitsky tried to compose a couple of songs. After several "kitchen" rehearsals, Percussionist Sergey Bugaev joined the buddies. Gradually, the first compositions of another nameless team took shape into finished works, and the newly new group began to delight guests by performances.
Soon the team was replenished with several more musicians, the ensemble was called the "sounds of mu". After some time, the group could boast his own keyboard player (they became Pavel Khotin), a virtuoso phageotist Alexander Alexandrov and Percussionist Mikhail Zhukov.
During the existence of the team, dozens of musicians managed to reach the scene with Peter Mamonov in the "sounds of mu". Someone was delayed in the group for a long time, someone participated only in a couple of concerts. Only the founder of the ensemble, the soloist and the author of most compositions remained the permanent permanent.
Music
Gradually, the team, changing the musicians, the styles of the game and even genres, was looking for his own personality. In 1988, the artists recorded the first record called "simple things". This album includes the composition "Gray Pigeon", "Lulyaki Bab", "Bottle of Vodka" and other songs that are loved by the fans of the "sounds of mu" still.A significant role in the creation of a collection was played by guitar player Alexey Bortnichuk - Mamonov's consolidated brother, and the leader of the Center "Center" Vasily Nozov, who acted as a producer, became the main initiator. Their second studio album "Crimea" came out in the same year. The musicians themselves consider it the best in their discography.
The next serious milestone in the biography of the ensemble is considered to access the Moscow Rock Lab. This public organization opened at the initiative of the government. And although by and large, the main goal of the laboratory was still monitoring the texts of the songs of rock musicians and timely censorship, membership in it was considered honorary.
In addition, the laboratory management helped young artists to organize concerts and tours, and the participants of the "sounds mu" began to constantly speak, parallel to the "subordination" material for the next album.
A prominent indicator of the Group's success was an invitation to central television. In 1989, "MU sounds took part in the program" Music Ring ". True, in the competition, the team gave way to the Leningrad team "Avia", and Mamonov advised to refer to the psychiatrist.
The next plate of the group pleased the fans of the genre by the compositions of "Gadopytikna", "Crazy Queen", "Paper Flowers", Forgotten Sex and other songs. In her records, England Brian Iso, a famous producer of those years, helped musicians. With this man, Mamonov and other musicians "Sounds MU" were also familiar with the rock laboratory. Sound recording works took place in Britain, and the album was first released there. He reached the ears of the Russian listener only in 1994.
Immediately after the release of the record, the artists went to the tour: United Kingdom, the Soviet Union and the United States. It seemed that there was an enviable career and world glory ahead of the musicians. However, in the same year, Mamonov surprised fans with a statement about the collapse of the team.
After the final tour "Sounds of MU", Peter continued to speak with Alexei Bratschuk, calling the new project "Mamonov and Alexey". In the recording of arrangements, the brothers helped the brothers, the notorious bass guitarist Evgeny Kazantsev and the drummer Yuri Kistseniev, the drummer Andrei Pesolsky joined the musicians later.
Peter, according to his own admission, laid great hopes for this project, but Mamonov's Western partners were unhappy with what happened - they have invested significant funds to advertise the 2nd round "Sounds of MU" in the United States. Having learned about renaming the team, Warner Brothers refused to cooperate. Linda Greenberg was engaged in the further organization of the trip musicians to America.
Under the pressure of representatives of the recording company OPAL RECORDS, with which Mamonov worked at that time, the artist had to return the previous composition of the group, and the "sounds" continued to perform and record songs in the same mode. The compositions of that period were collected in one album in 1993, the record was called "Rude Sunset". The most famous songs from this collection were the "canning knife" and "armor train".
And on the song "Rude Sunset" the musicians even removed the clip. The shooting process took a minimum of time. Everything happened in the studio, the son of Mamonov participated in the filming. It is impossible to say that at that time this video struck the public, but in 2013 they spoke again. The National Group The National has published a video for the SEA OF LOVE song, which was completely copied with the video "Sound Mu".
In subsequent years, the worldview and priorities of Mamonov have changed seriously. The artist was more and more left the music, but it was engaged in new projects: starred in several pictures, played in the theater and even put his own performances and costume views.
In 1995, the musician was fascinated by the ideas of Christianity, the artist left a vigor city and moved to the village. In an interview, Peter recognized that he was disappointed in rock culture, former ideas and even fans, which periodically satisfied the riots and drove during the concerts of the group.
All this eventually bowed the performer to the thought of the next dissolution of the team. The last plate recorded in the former team of the team was published in 1996. In this album, called the "Life of amphibians, as it,", entered the compositions "Chernomorskaya Seagull", "Khlestakov", "in the village". In theory, from this point on the group ceased to exist, did not write songs and did not shoot clips. But this is only the idea. Now the team consisted of one person - Mamonov.
At first he released several collections in which old unnecessary compositions entered, among whom are "all bastards", "electric men", "Babik", "Lucy" and others.
And in 2000, the light saw a full-fledged plate "Chocolate Pushkin". True, the Mamonov disk was created almost alone. He was the author and performer of all compositions. Like previous works, music and texts sound brazenly, and some theatricality of performance rushes. After the release of the disk, Peter decided to recreate it in monospectacle. The premiere took place in the Moscow Dramatic Theater. Konstantin Stanislavsky on September 11, 2001, just that day, when terrorist attacks hit the USA. The performance received contradictory reviews, nevertheless, he walked on the theater stage until October 2005.
The eighth studio collection "Sounds MU" was released in 2002 and was called "Electric T". Mamonov, as over the previous disk, worked himself. According to Evermusica.com, this collection was recognized as the best plate of the collective and the best album of 2002.
Almost simultaneously in 2003, Peter released the collections "Mice 2002" and "green", which later translated into the format of the next performance.
Next year, Mamonov created a "great silence of the metro wagon". This time he turned out a collection of white poems. The idea of creating this work appeared at the musician after the course of rehabilitation from alcohol addiction in a psychiatric clinic.
In 2005, the album "Tales of Brothers Grimm" was released - the last in the works of "Sounds Mu". The concept of the plate rotates around the same collection of fairy tales, and each composition is the interpretation of one of them. This collection, like the past works of Mamonov, turned out to be clearly non-commercial, but in the underground environment was noticed.
Also, concert DVDs were published, the last of which are the "rude sunset in Kiev" and "Alexey In USA" - dated 2008.
Peter's triumphant return occurred only in 2015, when the musician announced a new project. "Brand new sounds of mu" - Under this name, the artist returned to the scene.
The composition, except Mamonov, entered Grant Minasyan (drummer), bassist Ilya Urebenchenko, the glory of elk, playing on the wind and keyboards, as well as Alex Gritskevich (keyboard player). The updated team presented several concert programs and pleased the bored fans by a tour of the tour.
After a year, the team "Brand new sounds MU" presented the Theater and Concert Program "Adventures of Justice". Mamonov performed both at solo concerts and in monospectacles, and together with the ensemble - the photo from events can be found on the page of the artist in "Instagram".
Lipnitsky, Alexandrov, Khotyn, Pavlov, Bortnichuk and Trinity created their group "Otzvuki MU", which also toured around the country and performed at festivals.
Group "Sounds MU" now
In March 2021, Alexander Lipnitsky died, one of the founders of the group. He was 68 years old. The man rode skiing near the house in Nikolina Mount. Trying to save your dog that fell under the ice in the Moscow River, he drowned. The musician buried in the suburbs.
In April, Mamonov celebrated the anniversary, in honor of which the creative evenings were held "Peter Mamonov. 70 years old "in the club-Festival" Morse "and in the Moscow Movie House. And in the summer, the life of the musician worried fans: the soloist fell into intensive care with a diagnosis of coronavirus infection. The artist was connected to the IVL apparatus and introduced into the state of artificial coma. Unfortunately, his body did not cope with the disease - July 15, the unplaced leader of the group "Sounds Mu" died.
