"Bi-2" is a popular musical team, without hits of which it is already difficult to submit a Russian rock scene. Now Leva Bi-2 and B-2 Shura - permanent leaders of the group - are surrounded by glory and love of fans, but few people know that since the founding of the team the musicians had to go through failures, and through a whole series of difficulties. Fortunately for fans, performers managed to overcome all obstacles and achieve real recognition.The history of creation and composition
Both leaders of the Bi-2 group were born in Belarus. In 1985, the Ways of the Leva Bi-2 (in the world - Egor Bortnik) and Shura Bi-2 (real name of the musician - Alexander Uman) crossed. Both young people were engaged in the Rond Theater Studio, dreaming about the acting profession. However, after a while, friends understood that the music was more interesting for the theater.
So in 1988, Shura and Lev invited friends from the music team "Chance" to the new group, which was called the "Brothers in Arms", and then was renamed the "Truth Coast". The author of all the songs became lev, but the young man was embarrassed by the composition of his own essay, so Alexander Sergeev was vocalist.
This first team, collected by the left and shura, has not achieved popularity. The musicians performed in local DC and even participated in one of the rock festivals, but never were noticed by listeners. The failure forced the artists to leave the music for a short time. However, already in 1989, friends again decided to start with a pure sheet and created a new team.
The group got a name under which it was later famous, "B-2". According to musicians, this is a reference to the American Strategic Bombarder Northrop B-2 Spirit. The vocalist of the new team, who threw the constraint this time, was lev. As performers were confirmed later, the genre of music they chose "witness and periodically ifsyxual."
The lyrics were also the texts of the first team compositions, and the first performances of Bi-2. So, at the beginning of each concert on the stage, the coffin was taken out from which Lev got up and began to sing. The performances of the renewed team were perceived by the listeners with a bang, and soon Lev and Shura recorded the first plate, called "Motherland".
It seemed that the group's popularity would only grow, but soon the musicians again went into a creative vacation - in 1991, Shura and Lev moved to Israel. There, artists periodically performed in clubs, but Glory did not achieve.
In 1993, the participants of the Bi-2 group were on different continents. Leva remained in Israel, and Shura moved to Australia. Another creative break lasted four years, and only in 1997 the musicians reiterated again and began to record songs.
Mikhail Karasev and Krasika Victoria Bilogan joined Leva and Shura. The fruit of the joint creativity was the plate "Pissing and sad love", which, although did not bring success performers, but marked a new milestone in the biographies "Bi-2".
The current composition of the group has six musicians. In addition to Shura and Leva, Andrei Calls (guitar) played in the team, bass guitarist Maxim Andryzhenko, Drummer Boris Lifshits and Yinik Nicolenko (back-vocals, keyboards, flute, drums).
Music
In 1998, the musicians recorded the next record. The first name of the album was "and the ship sails", but later it was decided to change it to "Bi-2". In Russia, the team collection came out in 2000, simultaneously with the clip on the "Varvara" track, which, along with the Silver's song, seemed interesting programmatic directors of radio stations. Soon the creativity of Leva and Shura became popular among the listeners of Our Radio and Radio "Maximum", and then "gothes" and on other waves.Shortly before the release of the plate, the artists moved to Russia and began searching for the producer - it was not possible to agree on themselves with the famous studios. Acquaintance with Alexander Ponomarev (producer of the Splin Group) changed the situation.
It was he who managed to organize the first performances of the team at the "invasion", as well as the appearance of Leva and Shura on the ether of the Anthropology program with Dmitry Dibrov. A significant role in increasing the popularity of the group was also played by the picture of Alexey Balabanova "Brother-2", for which "Bi-2" recorded the composition "Colonel Nobody writes."
Shot based on the film Balabanov Clip for the group participants did not appreciate, but then they learned to be surprised that Sergei Bodrov himself was mounted.
Completely consolidated success helped joint tour with Alexander Vasilyev and Splin Group. Also, Lev and Shura performed the Fellini song with Vasilyev and removed the clip on this song.
Another loud duet of that time was the song "My Rock and Roll", recorded with Yulia Chicherina. A video was also shot on this composition, in which the actress Ingeborg Dapkunayte.
In 2001, the Bi-2 discography was replenished with a "meow kiss Mi", the Bonus track to which the "Last Hero" composition was written for the realistic show of the Channel One.
Three years later, Leva and Shura presented an album "Forearki". The list of disks group gradually increased. In 2006, the conceptual plate "Moloko" came out. According to musicians, in the compositions of this album, the story of the "Clocking Orange" of Anthony Bergess, as well as its film, filmed by Stanley Kubrik.
In 2010, the musicians decided to experiment with arrangements and began to give concerts together with the Symphony Orchestra with whom they first collaborated in 2003 as a one-time experiment. According to artists, it became the beginning of the new - "mature" - the stage of creativity "Bi-2".
The Spirit disc who saw the light in 2011 was recorded on the means of shareholders who, in exchange for deposits, received prepared CDs and other bonuses depending on the amount of the deposit. The fans of the song "Prayer" and singles "airless anxiety" and "Optimist" recorded with Tamara Gverdcitel and a group "Picnic", respectively, were especially loved.
The 9th studio album "# 16Plus" came out in 2014, on 5 of his compositions, video was removed, including "compromise" and "taken into the army".
At the end of 2016, "Bi-2" recorded another hit, called the name "Bird on the windowsill". This composition Shura and Lev was performed with Diana Arbenina, Vladimir Shahrin (Tech Group), Nike Borzov and other rock stars.
In 2017, the musicians presented the 10th Studio Collection "Horizon of Events" and at once two loud track together with other performers. At first, the song "Whiskey", recorded with American John Grant. This composition sounded in the frames of the film "Quartet and" "What men say. Continuation". A year after the soundtrack, the RU.TV television channel in the nomination "Cinema and Music" received for the Soundtrack to the picture "Bi-2".
In addition, Lev and Shura sang along with Miron Fedorov, known as Oximiron (Oxxxymiron). Over the first week, the video on the joint composition "It's time to return home" scored several million views on Yutubeub.
In 2018, Lev and Shura organized the Bi-2 Fest festival, which took place in the Belarusian Bobruisk. Among the invited musicians were "networks", Brainstorm, Midnight Faces and others. Also "Bi-2" became chadliners of the Festival of the Film Transfers, held in July in Okulovka. In addition to Leva and Shura, guests of the events of the Rock Commands of Kalinov Bridge, Pilot, DDT, performers of buckwheat, Moon (Louna) and other musicians.
In 2020, the Group had an updated Live Album "Horizon of Events with Orchestra".

"An odd warrior"
In 2005, Shura and Lev were produced by the producers of the project "odd warrior", which was founded on the work of the permanent author of the songs "Bi-2" Mikhail Karaseva. The first single "Slow Star" was performed by the left of the "Bi-2" and Diana Arbenina.
At the same time, the collection "Odd Warrior" was also released, in which other teams and artists took part in the records, among whom were Brainstorm, Agatha Christie, Nike Borzov, Linda and many others. "Bi-2" as ancestor of the ideas received the "Sound Track" award.
Subsequently, based on any stylistry or musical era, one after another was continued: "An odd warrior - 2", "an odd warrior - 2.5", "odd warrior - 3". "An odd warrior - 4. Part 2. Retro Edition" had a reference to the music of the 70s, the next "odd warrior - 4. Part 1", which started in 2020, was dedicated to the 80th. The recording of the disk was held in 3 countries: Israel, Russia and the USA.
Group "Bi-2" now
Now the musicians are still passionate about her beloved affairs and are actively involved in public events.In 2021, the group toured with a concert program "Let's leave the house" in Russia and Europe and prepared materials for the release of a clip to a new song "We do not need a hero", the premiere of which was planned for mid-June. At the same time, a 3-hour Newbest XL concert in "Luzhniki" was supposed to be held, where in addition to BI-2, the Speech of the Network team was announced.
