Biography
To call the group "Kalinov Bridge" by the permanent leader of the rock collective Dmitry Revyakin offered the future spouse. Over the years, the symbolism of the bridge to the kingdom of the dead was replaced by associations with a transition state: since 1986, not only the group's compositions changed several times, but also the style of her creativity. The icon for domestic music criticism recognized the fifth studio album "Weapons". Revyakin the same key for the team believes "Ice Hike". And at least the musician said that the mission of Kalinov Bridge was fulfilled with the release of this album, the group continued to create.
The history of creation and composition
The official point of reference to the history of the Kalinov Bridge group is considered to be 1986, when the selected debut magneto album was released. But the first concerts of the ensemble, who gathered the student who was passionate about the poetry of the Novosibirsk Electrotechnical Institute Dmitry Revyakin, took place much earlier. Working around the DJ on discos, Revyakin dreamed, which will create your own music.
Students of the same Institute joined him: Viktor Chaplygin sat for the drums, and the bass guitarist became Andrei Shubnikov, and during 1986, Dmitry Selivanov was the guitarist, with whom Revikin played in the Health team before. Soon because of disagreements, the leader had left the "Kalinov Bridge", and Vasily Smolentsev came to his place. The quartet was so strong that the decade existed in such a form. It is considered the "golden composition" of the Novosibirsk team.
The first of this composition of the group leaves puppies. At this time, the musicians work on the fifth studio album "Weapons" and Oleg Tatarenko is invited to record Bass. He works with the Kalinov Bridge over 1999, and then he replaces Evgeny Baryshev, who remains in the team until 2003.
However, it is worthwhile to acquire a permanent bassist, a guitarist vacancy arises: in 2001, Smolensev ceases cooperation with revile and champligin. Music
The initial stage of the group's creativity - up to the 90s is close in philosophy and stylistics to the hippie movement. It is not by chance that the song "Girl in the summer" from the first magnetoalbom, who came out in 1986, got into the Soundtrack painting "Sun House". The film dedicated to the life of "Children's Colors" in the USSR took off Garik Sukachev, using the story of Ivan Okhlobystin for the plot base.
Also during this period, the composition of civil lyrics appears: "Siberian March", "Cossack" and others.
"And we had songs at the level of manifestos, and the country lived with expectations," the soloist Dmitry Revyakin recalls in an interview with the Maxim magazine.Kalinov Bridge receives positive feedback from colleagues in the workshop: Yuri Shevchuk, Boris Grebenshchikov, Alexander Bashchechev. In 1987, the team first acts in St. Petersburg, and the public of Novosibirsk represents Konstantin Kinchev. Musicians perform in rock clubs, at festivals, participate in the apartment.
In 1989, Revyakin returns to Novosibirsk, and the remaining participants of the group are forced to play spinners and touring other people's songs, mainly foreign teams. For a year and a half, Dmitry creates a material that allows the team to start cooperation with the center of Stas Namina.
In 1991, the first studio album "In Twitter" is recorded, both compositions for plates "Week" and Darza are being created and recorded and recorded. The lyrics of this period is noted using an anachronism, the Old Slavonic language, the images characteristic of pagan culture. Genre of music Revyakin later determines as "new Cossack songs".
Wide fame, and with it and the financial stability of Kalinov Bridge brings the album "Weapons". In contrast to the previous plates, the arrangements are deprived of the sound of keyboards and winds, and the acoustic guitar is barely noticeable for the stiffness of the drum and pressure of the electric guitar. The militancy, which is imbued with the music on the record, impressed the critics called "weapons" by a sign album for domestic rock. The song "Native" becomes hit, they take off the second in the history of Kalinov Bridge. In 2016, the group performed a song together with the party "Blue Bird" contest by Alena Korotaneva.
Three years later, the popularity of the team fastens the album "ore", but then the release of the new material comes a break. Continuing touring, "Kalinov Bridge" is experiencing a change in the composition. A personal tragedy is superimposed on the instability of the period: the wife of Vocalist Dmitry Revyakina, Olga dies from the heart attack. A year after a sad event and five years after the release of the previous album "Kalinov Bridge" presents the SWA plate. Lyrical, filled with ballads Release is devoted to Olga Revyakina.
Later in the discography of Novosibirsk, a similar plate will appear - the "Heart" album, released in 2009. But between two releases in 2007 will be released "Ice Hike", which revyakin will name the top of the group's creativity and the fulfillment of its mission. Since 2010, Revyakin and the company produce five albums, starting with an unusually daring "Eschato" with the militant hit "Mother Europe". The ideological, contemplative album "Golden Tolko" replaces the urban, rigid plate "Contra".
In 2016, the Group released the 16th Studio Album "Sheep Season". It is noteworthy that the release facilities were collected using crowdfunding. Thanks to a successful campaign, the presentation of the new block of creativity of the Novosibirsk was held, and the participants of the collection received digital copies of the record.
"Kalinov Bridge" now
In February 2018, within the framework of the Schartov Dzhain Prize, Dmitry Revyakin received from the "Radio" award in the nomination "Soloist of the Year". And it's not by chance that: Hit "Kalinov Bridge" "On the Ural" sounded on the air station all 2017.
In April 2018, Novosibirski announced the launch of a crowdfunding campaign to collect funds for the release of the album "Dauria".
