The "Secret" group in the Soviet Union (and later - in Russia) was as popular as the Beatles. At concerts, the fans were not allowed to fulfill the hits to sololy - "I love Bugi-Woogi," Alice, "Blues of Stray Dogs," sang in all power. In 2015, performers assigned the status of "legends", and now they continue to drive with tours, celebrating the 35th anniversary.The history of creation and composition
In 1981, Nikolai Fomenko and Maxim Leonidov, students of the acting department of the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinema, asked the idea to collect a group. At the same time, no one knew how to play musical instruments, did not know what genre to speak. The group received the name "Christina".
Maxim Leonidov said: "We want to be like ABBA," but Nikolai Fomenko responded: "This is nonsense. You need to be like The Beatles. " To compare with the legends of world music, the group had to change the name. Preference was given to "Secret" - in honor of the Bitlovsk song "Listen, Do You Want to Know a Secret?". This happened in the fall of 1982. Then the team left Alexander Kalinin, who played the drums.
At the end of 1982, "Secret" gave a debut concert. Nikolay Fomenko (Solo-Guitar), Maxim Leonidov (Rhythm Guitar, Keymaid) and their homework - Dmitry Rubin (bass guitar) and Alexey Murashov (drums). The famous Mike Naumenko, the leader of the Rock Group "Zoo", decided to cheer novice musicians.
The speech turned out to be failed. As Nikolai Fomenko recalled, the guys, promoting, played in different tonalities, and the bottle of the angry crowd threw the bottles in them.
After a year of stubborn rehearsals, "Secret" went on stage a second time, wagging in the Leningrad Club "Eureka". There, the musicians got acquainted with Bari Alibasov, the leader of the "Integral" group. He offered inexperienced students the opportunity to perform at his concerts, but for this "secret" needed to change the repertoire. Then Alexey Murashov said the phrase, which became the winned:
"Barimych Barimych, we are not the first year in rock music."
The musicians did not agree to the offer of Alibasov, but lost Dmitry Rubin. On April 20, 1983, Andrei Zabludovsky joined them. From that moment on, the history of the "Secret" group began, and the collected composition began to be called "gold".
Music
In the summer of 1983, the debut album "You and I" was recorded, which included 13 compositions. Almost all the songs are written by the group members, mainly Leonidov and Fomenko. Three months later, the musical activity had to interrupt - Maxim and Nicholas were taken to the army. But even there, in soldier's conditions, the guys blew poems and music.
In 1985, the "secret" found "Pope" - the administrator of Sergei Alexandrova. He, like the manager of Lenoncert, had connections and money, and even confidence in the success of the group. With it, the schedule of the group compacted, had to give five concerts per day. It brought its fruits: the newspaper "Change" called the "secret" by the opening of the year, and in 1986 they had their own fan club and experience filming in the film "How to Be Star" and our own clips.
In 1987, the light saw the second album called "Secret", which was twice the platinum. It includes 12 songs, including a cover version of the song of the Zoo group - "Bugi-Vui". As part of the Presentation of the record, the musicians were given two to three concerts per day, including in Italy and Switzerland.
Two years later, the third album "Leningrad time" was released, which included 4 songs ("Blues of Stray Dogs", "Home", "Careless Riding" and "Lisa") from the 1988 magnetoalbom "Heart of the Northern Mountains". The authorship of most songs is still, in this case, 9 out of 10, belongs to Nikolay Fomenko and Maxim Leonidov.
However, unexpected - immediately after the release of the album, Leonidov said that he leaves the group. His biography took the vector abroad, Maxim moved for 4 years to Israel. In 1996, he created the Hippoband group.
The "Secret" participants decided to perform three of them, which, however, was not strongly affected by the success of the group. In 1991, the album "Orchestra on the Run" was published with the participation of the ensemble "Cape Town" as part of 8 people. By the way, they also supported musicians on live performances, helping to create more "volumetric" sound.
The record did not have stunning success, but was clouded with critics. Levon Oghajanyan in the book "I know one" secret "wrote:
"It's hard to say whether their records will be included in the Golden Fund in the Golden Fund, their whole, well-developed program, but what they have done is an interesting connection, so not similar to all the usual and familiar to us."In 1994, discography is replenished with another compilation - "do not worry." The texts of almost all songs (14 out of 17) wrote Nikolay Fomenko. Nevertheless, he focused more on television shows and in 1996 left the group.
In the "old" composition of the "Secret", Andrei Zabludovsky and Alexey Murashov remained. They did not give up ideas to play, inviting the participants of the Saint Petersburg-2 group: Oleg Chinakov, Gennady Anastasova and Andrei Boldakina.
Over time, "Secret" bored and Alexey Murashov: In 1999, Andrei Zabludovsky remained from the initial participants in the group. He renamed the team in "Andrei Zabludovsky and" Secret-99 "."
In 2003, four "old old" - Fomenko, Leonidov, Zabludovsky and Murashov - reunited for the sake of the 20th anniversary of the group. Then every 5 years, the musicians gave concerts just for the sake of the anniversary: in 2007, 2013 and 2018. And in 2014 they released the album "All this is love."

On August 4, 2018, the Classic Composition "Secret" performed at the Festival "Invasion", fulfilling 11 hits and PPURRI.
Maxim Leonidov in free from music time is engaged in producing performances. So, since September 2018, in the theater of the musical comedy in St. Petersburg, work on the musical "Girl per million" is underway. The artist tours with the monomusik "I looked around."
In addition to concerts in the "Secret", Leonidov continues to perform and record albums with the Hippoband group. The successes of Maxim tells in "Instagram", lays out photos from concerts and posters of performances.
Nikolai Fomenko continues to realize himself in the cinema. In 2017, two films were released with the participation of the artist - "You all mess me!" And "find a husband Daria Klimova." In addition, he voiced the role of Angus in the cartoon "Rock Dog".
