Biography

Daniel was born on March 20, 1979 in Lafayette, Louisiana, in the family of Joseph and Audrey Korde. The boy became the third of the four children: he has the older brother Joseph and Sister Felicia, as well as the younger brother Ferral.
In the biography of the future champion, many tragic events, and the first overtook him at the age of 7: in 1986, on Thanksgiving, his father was killed. Four kids remained in the care of the second spouse Joseph, whose relative and committed this crime.
High School Northside High did not bring Daniel joy. In the first year of study, his close friend and comrade for a football team died in a car accident, returning home from training, and a cousin died in the same incident.

By the end of the eldest school, Daniel won 101 battle, only nine times the defeat. At the end of the school, Kormye entered Community College Colby, Kansas, and continued to develop as a fighter. In 1998 and 1999, he won the title champion among young guys in the weight category of 90 kg. The American successfully spent 61 fights, never losing.
In 2000, Daniel was transferred to the University of Stillwater, Oklahoma, which is included in the National Student Sports Association. The young man was enrolled in the first division, where he showed a good result: 26 victories, 5 defeats. He was taken to the national team, but, passing, the feed badly showed himself at competitions and did not hit the best fighters in the eight.
The next year was more successful in terms of battles, but the guy struck another loss. In January 2001, the plane transported by the men's youth kowboy team from Oklahoma, failed due to weather conditions. Among the ten dead was a close friend of Kormia Daniel Louuson.
After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in sociology, Daniel came to sports. From 2003 to 2008, the United States was represented at the world level, repeatedly becoming the champion in the weight category of 96 kg. And in 2005, Kamye became one of the few Americans who won gold at the Russian Grand Prix "Ivan Yarygin". It is believed that this is the heaviest fighting tournament.
In 2004, the fighter tried himself in wrestling, took part in the already non-existent competitions of Real Pro Wrestling League and won the championship in the weight category 95 kg. A month later, Daniel was to speak at the Olympic Games. He did not reach the pedestal: in the struggle for the 3rd place was played by Russian Hadzhimurat Gatzalov.
In 2008, Daniel wanted to take revenge on the Olympic Games. On August 21, he had a fight with Cuban Michel Batista, and during the day the stern was successfully weighing with an indicator of 96 kg. However, a few hours later the athlete was bad.

The debut, held in September 2009 at the Xtreme MMA championship, was crowned with success. In 2010, the athlete signed a contract with a promotion strikeforce for 8 fighting and won in each of them. Daniel's power was so great that in three battles he himself broke his hand about other people's bones.
After the contract, the Ferry has passed under the auspices of UFC. Under the supervision of doctors, the fighter dropped the weight of up to 92 kg, while turning into a heavy heavyweight category. The first 3 battles were completed in favor of the American, and on January 3, 2015, he suffered the first defeat in a professional career. Daniel opposed John Jones. The athletes conducted a rich 5-minute battle, but the judges assigned the victory from Jones.
Two years later, on July 29, 2017, the Americans met again in battle for the title of heavy-duty weight champion according to UFC. In the third round, Korde was knocked out. In an interview after the fight, Daniel did not hold back sobs:
"I thought that the fight was going well, I don't even know what happened. Probably hit me. God, I am so disappointed! ".However, a month later in two doping samples of Jones discovered a prohibited drug - Steroid Tourisan. The fight was recognized as invalid, and the title of champion returned the fodder.
With the exception of John Jones, all rivals submitted to Kormye: Anthony Johnson, Volkan Ozdemir, Anderson Silva. And immediately after the battle with Step Miechiech, on July 7, 2018, Daniel summoned Brock Forers, formerly unbeatable MMA fighter. Personal life
In the personal life of Daniel, Kormye did not cost without tragedies.
On March 6, 2003, his girl, athlete Caroline Flauer, gave birth to Kaedn's daughter. A few months later, on June 14, Caroline returned to his friends home to Killle, Texas, by car with faulty air conditioning. The child cried from the heat, and the girl rearranged the cradle into the car to friends.
