Ivan Vladimirovich Shtyirkov was born on September 6, 1988 in Khabarovsk, but in 1994 a boy with his parents moved to Vladivostok. When Vanya turned 10 years old, he had to move again - to Yekaterinburg. Mom and dad were able to join the son not immediately, so for some time Vanya lived under the supervision of grandparents.
The first years after the move were heavy time in the biography of the future fighter - the boy was in a new city, in an unfamiliar atmosphere and without friends. Grandma brought up vanya strictly, but the athlete himself believes that it was necessary and the only right solution.
As a child, the future fighter was not similar to the current one - in the class of Vanya Shtyokov for a long time remained the smallest student, and the grandmother even thought that the child would need to show doctors. Ivan's sambo section was given by his father, as he believed that a man should be strong and able to protect his loved ones and his country. In addition, in the 1990s, Sport reliably saved the child from the street and its negative influence.
Thanks to the section, Vanya appeared friends, and it became easier for him: before that, the boy felt lonely and defenseless, and the guys from the section were a real team.
Martial arts
Despite small dimensions, Vanya won the first competitions on which he made after the start of training. In the future, the young man has repeatedly conquered prizes in the championships of Russia, titles and rewards in international tournaments and at the World Cup stages. For a long time, Ivan spoke for the RSPPU team in which he studied at the Faculty of Physical Culture.
The athlete never thought about mixed martial arts, and the first battle spent "for himself." Ivan was not going to become a professional fighter, nor earn money in this way - the possibility of development in his favorite business was attracted to MMA.
To fight in mixed martial arts at the professional level of Shtyrkov began in 2015. Then, on June 12, the athlete in the first round won the technical knockout of Ukrainian Vitaly Oparin.
Less than a year, on May 6, 2016, Ivan, having 5 battles over the shoulders and not a single defeat, went to the ring against the experienced fighter Jeff Snowman Monson. The battle ended the victory of Shtyrkov on the 31st second of the 1st round and led to the scandal.
After 3 days after the fight, Monson said that the fight was dishonest, while referring to the injury of the biceps, which he warned the organizers in advance. According to the athlete, he gave consent only to an indicative battle. Ivan this situation was very upset - initially he treated Jeff with great respect, and now it doesn't even want to remember anyone.
The November match of 2016 with Anthony Bigfort Silva became ambiguous. The fight was difficult, and both opponents were tired of the 3rd round. The victory in the end was awarded the judges, unanimously giving it to the Russian, but Silva and some lovers of MMA reacted skeptical.
In February 2017, Ivan fought with an American Rodney Wallace, at the same time the former fighter UFC. The battle was tense and lasted 3 rounds. Wallace, despite the resulting dissection, lasted until the end of the battle, but the victory by decision of the judges left the pin.
After 3 months, Ivan came to the ring against the athlete from the UK Philip de Fris. The battle ended in less than 2 minutes: the pins successfully began to fight a series of shocks and did not give the British a chance to fight back. The referee stopped the battle for 1 minute 51 seconds from the beginning of the 1st round. Philip de Fris lost to Ivan technical knockout. Another technical knockout in 2017 from Shtyrkova went to the Japanese Satoshi Ishia, Olympic Judo champion.
The next victory Ivan won over Christian M'Pumba, a Frenchman with Congolese roots. This battle was the first for Shutyrkov in a light heavyweight weight category - before that the athlete was fighting with heavyweights. The fight with M'Pumba lasted 3 rounds, and the whole battle was held in the rack - Ivan it was not possible to translate the opposition to the parter. The victory again demanded decisions of judges, but the superiority of the Russian in all 3 rounds was obvious.
The first fight of 2018 for Ivan began a duel with a Pole of Mrats Lazars. And again 3 full round of contractions ended with the verdict of judges, according to which the victory in battle belonged to the pin.
On May 15, 2018, the Russian for the first time in his professional career did not leave the "cell" winner - the fight with Brazilian Jeronimo Dos Santos brought Ivan a draw. Within 3 rounds, the rivals did not give each other to each other, although the Shtyrkova had a chance - after successfully hitting the elbow in his head, he could carry out the "finishing" of Jeronimo, but he knew, and the moment was missed.
By the 3rd round, both fighters were noticeably tired, and he passed mainly in Klinta. As a result, a draw was recognized as a majority of judicial votes.
On October 27, 2018, Ivan again came out against the athlete from Brazil, Fabio Maldonado, in the spring of the loser to another Russian - Nikita Krylov.
In the 1st Round, the leadership kept the pin. In addition to strikes with hands and legs, he successfully spent a teykdown - a throw translated into a parter. Soon after the start of the 2nd round, Ivan again pressed Fabio to the floor and the outcome of the fight became obvious - the Russian won the technical knockout.

Ivan often gives an interview, but speaks mostly about battles, training and rivals, therefore the details of his personal life press are unknown. However, in 2017, the fighter told reporters of the site 66.ru, which plans to find his wife in the future and raise children, as she can be at the same time both husband and father and athlete.
From the interview, it became known that for some time Ivan worked in law enforcement agencies, but where exactly and in what capacity - the athlete does not speak. But it's willingly admire that he does not like the nickname to the Ural Hulk - the fighter considers it to be clispage, and therefore prefers to remain just Ivan Tyokov.
