Valery Anokhin was born in Moscow on December 20, 1962. About the children's years performer knows little. He got the musical gift from the mother - according to the stories of the singer, she has an amazing voice and hearing. After school, Valery successfully graduated from Gnesin School and became a professional singer.

In 1988, Anhin began to sing in the rock group "If". 2 years later, he received a proposal to participate in the production of "Jesus Christ - Superstar" under the direction of the director Pavel Khomsky.
