Emil Grigorievich Vernik was born on September 4, 1924. His homeland became the city of Odessa. By nationality, Vernik - Ukrainian. The Second World War touched Ukraine. When in the fall of 1941 it became clear that the fascists were close to the country's border too closely and is about to enter Kharkov, Emil's family was evacuated. Wanders moved to Kazakhstan, where the influence of war was less destructive. Here Emil became a worker of Pinotovikhoz, but did not forget about his hobbies. Creative potential and taking a young man were stronger. He has been organized by a dramatic circle on the basis of the local youth club.
Having learned that the Ukrainian Theater Institute was evacuated to Saratov, Emil Vernik immediately decided to move to this city to position the opportunity to continue training in the specialty. At that time, Gityis was located in Saratov. The situation has developed in such a way that the Moscow university was combined with Ukrainian and became his additional separation.
Students of the Institute were occupied in the production of the Opera and Ballet Theater of Saratov.
