Biography
Lyudmila Makarova is known primarily as the theater actress. In an interview, she admitted that "her novel with cinema" did not work out. In her biography there were many heavy moments - war, blockade, the death of loved ones, but, in spite of everything, she managed to preserve and uncover the creative gift, becoming a favorite of the Soviet public.
Lyudmila Josephovna Makarova, Russian by nationality, was born in Petrograd (St. Petersburg) on October 20, 1921. As a child, the girl dreamed of being a ballerina, but could not be able to become because of the disease of the legs (which will then torment the actress until the end of life).
To distract the daughter from the unfulfilled dream of dancing, the mother looked at her in a dramatic circle, where a little Luda with delight discovered for himself and the bright world of the theater. Teachers noticed in the girl a certain talent, and in 1938 she moved to the studio at the Leningrad Dramatic Theater named after Gorky.

BDT was evacuated in Kirov, but Makarov refused to go with the troupe and remained in Leningrad, where he received a temporary service at the Theater of the Baltic Fleet. Together with other actors, they put the performances in ports, on ships and once even on a submarine. They did not stop the work even in the blockade time, speaking in DC "Vyborsky", and after the liberation of the city continued to perform in front-line brigades.
The flourishing of creativity Lyudmila Makarova fell on the post-war years. In 1945, she returned to his native BDT. Personal life
Spouse Lyudmila Josephovna became a partner in the Scene of BDT Efim Copelian. In the personal life of the actress it was the only marriage. Already after the first meeting, they felt sympathy for each other, but got married only after 2 years. The artist loved to remember how Efim made her an offer - just ordered to take his passport and drive up to the registry office on the fountain, where she became his wife. The wedding was played in May 1941, and after a month of young spouses separated the war.
Copelian went to the folk militia volunteer, and Lyudmila waited for him in Leningrad. Although his front took place near the city, saw the spouses rarely. Despite this, Efim found the opportunity to convey his wife a part of his soldering and touching recaptant letters. The relations of the spouses were always warm and trusted, they did not spoil neither jealousy, nor the lifestyle, but to cope with the difficulties of both helped the sense of humor.
After the victory, the family reunited. In 1948, they had a son of Kirill, who later went in the footsteps of the parents and chose an acting profession for himself. Makarova survived both close people.
In 1957, her husband did not become, and in the 2005th son. Copelian suffered from heart disease and died in 62 years from an extensive heart attack. Cyril was seriously ill - after a serious incident associated with a fight, he became disabled for the 1st group. He never married, and all the concerns about him lay on the shoulders of the elderly mother. Makarova's son died, without surviving up to 50 years.

Death
Lyudmila Makarova died in his native St. Petersburg on May 30, 2014. The exact cause of death in the media is not called, at the time of the care of the artist was 92 years old.
