Oleg Divov is one of the most sought-after Russian science fiction. In his work, the writer is not limited to one direction and writes in different fantastic subshancies - from the anti-nightopy and cosmic operas to Slavic fantasy.
Oleg Igorevich Divov (on Father - Sklyarenko) was born in Moscow on October 3, 1968. The family of the future writer was inextricably linked with the art - Oleg coming from the genus of hereditary artists-Restorers of the Tretyakov Gallery. Divov himself argues that he is on the blood of Assyrian. The interest in the word was still in the youth, and from 14 years old, the young man was published as a journalist.
In 1987, the future writer called on the army, where he served in the artillery troops for 2 years. Weapons with which Divov worked directly during the service, was 2C4 "Tulip" - self-propelled mortar. Returning home in the rank of sergeant, the guy began his studies at the Moscow State University, but in 1991 he was expelled - he has accumulated 16 exams and tests that he did not pass.
This event did not prevent Oleg back to practical journalism, and he took up copywriting, already planning to become a writer. The choice and ability to work with the word gave the opportunity to pay enough time to work on the first novel - in an interview the man said that for a week of dense work earned the amount necessary for a quiet life during the month.
Books
The first Roman Divova in the writing biography, "Master of Dogs", saw the light in 1997 and became part of the trilogy "Zombie Trail". Readers The work attracted the novelty story decisions against the background of the standards of Russian fiction of the 1990s. Later, the novel "FRONTYR Act" ("Young and Strong Survive") was published, written in the genre, close to the postpocalipsis. In the main character of Roman Oleg invested some of its own qualities. The author was greatly surprised by the fact: the charismatic main characters liked the audience so much that she slipped out a sharply negative and cruel version of the world described in the book. The readers of the 90s, tired of instability and chaos, found the described imperial state with the most severe repressive system did not with antiutopia, but utopia. "Cholation" gathered a large number of premiums, repeatedly reprinted, was nominated for "Bronze Snail" and the Interpresson Prize, as well as translated into Estonian and Polish.
In 2005, Oleg wrote the book "Billy has Hrenovina", which became the beginning of the series "Profession: Inquisitor". In an interview with the magazine "World of Fiction", the writer said that this story from his works of the "middle form" appreciates the most highly. Among the fans "Billy has a hrenovina" is very popular, and the capacious and short "curses" of its main characters broke up for quotations, becoming a good substitute for obscene vocabulary.
In the future, the cycle was continued, but Oleg himself said that he had a relation to him only at the initial stage: most of the novels wrote his wife Svetlana Prokokchik.
The next "loud" book in the writer's bibliography, "Weapon of Retribution", was published in 2007 and, like "Billy has a hrenovina," partially saw the light earlier, in the Live Journal of Divova. "Weapons of Retribution", in fact, a collection of autobiographical lads about the time of the Writer's service in the Army of the USSR. In terms of vocabulary and plots, the book is designed for an adult contingent, but bribes the honesty and humorous lighting of the questions of army life, which are even seriously trying to write.
In 2008, another series of stories was published in the collection of "harmful profession", who first saw the light in his "LJ" - "Psychotronik LLC". Absurdist sketches about a very specific company are still popular on the Internet and often serve material for repost.
Published in 2011 the book "Do not lean. True on the subway, "in which Oleg was co-author, allowed readers to take a look at the Moscow subway from the window of the train driver. Personal life
Oleg Divov regularly visits writing conversion and gives an interview, but he prefers not about personal life, but about creativity. It is known that from the early marriages of the writer two children and that he was married for a long time on a colleague on the workshop Svetlana Prokokchik.
