Biography
Eduard Streltsov is the Great Soviet football player of the 1950s and 1960s, attacker of the capital "Torpedo" and the national team of the country. A powerful attacking plan player has become the fourth in the list of scorers of the USSR. As part of the team, participants of the 1956 Olympiad, Eduard for the first time in the history of the Soviet Union won the tournament gold.At the peak of Glory, the football player's career was interrupted due to dubious criminal commission accusations, but, serving a sentence, Saglotov found his strength to return to the field, conquer the National Cup and get the title of the best player of the year twice.
Childhood and youth
Eduard Anatolyevich Streltsov was born in the near Moscow city of Perovo on July 21, 1937. Parents of the future football player lived not lived: Father Anatoly worked at the factory, and Sophia's mother was a kindergarten educator.
The family of Edward broke up after the Great Patriotic War, Senior Streltsov, demobilized from the army, went to another woman and settled in Kiev. The family lost the breadwinner, and Sophia, who received disability after a heart attack, went to work at the plant "Mill" to bring up and feed the son alone.
In 1944, the boy was given to school, where he did not show talent to study, but loved the lessons of physical education. In his free time, Edik with neighboring children played football and sick for Spartak.

Football
In 1954, Streltsov in the Moscow team "Torpedo" debuted in the professional football league. In the match against the club "Dynamo" from Tbilisi, a young striker scored the first goal in a sports career and secured in the main composition of the club for the whole season.
Next year, Edward became the most effective championship player at number 9, with 15 balls in 22 matches, and secured a place in the USSR national team, where in the first two games against Sweden and India did in Hat-Trick.
In the Olympic season of 1956, Streltsov helped the team to become gold winners of the tournament in Melbourne, but missed the final against Yugoslavia on the tactical considerations of the coach. The sports policy of that time was that the awards received only members of the national team who participated in the final match. Since Sagittarov was absent on the field, he did not receive a medal.
Nikita Simonyan, replaced by a talented scorer, after the victory offered Eduard his own medal, but he refused, stating that he plans to win many of his own trophies. Return to the sport was not easy for Sport. The professional clubs of the attacker were not taken by criminal record, and he began to speak again for the Zila's factory team in 1963. In 1964, when Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev became the first secretary of the Central Committee of the CPSU, the public convinced the authorities to allow Streltsov to participate in the games of professionals. Eduard returned to his native Torpedo and, to the delight of fans, became the Champion of the USSR of 1965. The football player was again invited to the national team where he went out on the field over the next 3 years.
In 1968, Streltsov set a record of performance, scoring 21 balls in 33 games of the country's national championship. Criminal case and imprisonment
In the mid-1950s, Streltsov attracted the interest of the French and Swedish clubs, which caused the discontent of the Communist Party, who considered the football player with an unreliable "evil of Western imperialism."In early 1957, the football player was involved in the scandal with the participation of high-ranking members of the government, the cause of which was the reluctance to marry the daughter of one of the members of the Politburo. A year after Eduard's incident, resting at the cottage in the company of colleagues and women named Marina Lebedev, accused of rape and arrested.
The testimony against the attacker was intricate and contradictory, but the resentment caused by officials, made themselves to know, and at the court of Streltsov forced to confess to a crime in exchange for a promise to maintain a place in the national team at the 1958 World Championships. However, this did not happen: Edward sentenced to 12 years in prison in the Gulag camps and deprived the opportunity to ever return to a large sport.
Being in prison, Streltsov was subjected to a cruel attack and 4 months stayed in the hospital. After recovering, he went to throw the forest to the Vyatka River area, and then received the work of the librarian in the correctional institution of the Tula region. In 1963, the authorities liberated Streltsov early from custody, and the football player returned to Moscow.
Personal life
Judging by the photo, Streltsov was a charming and extravagant young man. There were rumors that the football player was a woman-naughty, but girlfriend, beloved and spouses in his life were.
Alla Demenko became the first wife of Edward, with which he secretly entered into marriage before leaving for the Olympics in Melbourne. The Union collapsed a year after the prosecution of rape, by this time the football player became the father of the first child, the girls named Lyudmila.
Returning from prison, Eduard, who loved to drink in the company of friends, completely lost his head. After a random meeting with the former wife, he tried to restore the relationship, but the harmful habit was prevented by the family to reunite.

Death
In the last years of the life of Streltsov complained about pain in the lungs and repeatedly fell into the hospital with a diagnosis of pneumonia. In 1990, studies have shown that malignant education has appeared at the footballer.Eduard Anatolyevich was placed in a cancer hospital, but hospitalization only delayed inevitable.
