Grigory Vasilyevich Gladkov was born on July 18, 1953 in Khabarovsk. Father Vasily Grigorievich Gladkov Rod from Bryansk, mother Sophia Tikhonovna Gladkov - from the Belgorod region. The boy was called in honor of his grandfather, the hero of the Second World War, the leader of the partisan movement, shot in front of his son. Vasily Grigorievich himself was in captivity at one time, and in the post-war time he received the status of a minor prisoner of fascist camps.
The first steps to the work of a little Grisha made under the care of the mother. She worked as children's crumbs and as a teacher tried to comprehensively develop the Son: Bought him children's books, records. Together they wrote scenarios for matinees, the poems of Samuel Yakovlevich Marshak sounded in the house, Kornea Ivanovich Chukovsky and cheerful clockwork music.
Then Grisha entered the Music School in the Bayan class and began to help the mother in the organization of yasery events, accompanied on the instrument. And I played as I knew: if I forgot the notes, I could replace a fragment from another composition. The main thing - the most real musical improvisation was born.
Even in early childhood, the family moved from Khabarovsk to the homeland of the Father - to Bryansk. Here the boy went to school, and all holidays spent in the village of relatives. Grigory's future profession chose her parents to advice, entered the Bryansk Institute of Transport Engineering. Although since 15 years has composed music and poems, more and more cultivating in the Bardov art, created the group "Blue Maki".
In 1975, Gladkov received a designer engineer diploma. But the passion for music, grappling during youth at the work of "Beatles" and Vladimir Vysotsky, did not leave the guy. And in the late 70s he moved to Leningrad, where he entered the music school for the classes of guitar and the theory of music, and then to the Leningrad State Institute of Culture (now St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts).
Creation
A year before the end of the Institute, in 1983, smooths moved to Moscow. This event was the success of the "Plasticine Crow" cartoon (1981), created by a multiplier director Alexander Tatar. Music wrote Gregory Gladkov on the verses of Alexander Kushner ("Song of the Paintings"), Drizza Ovy in the translation of the novel Sefa ("Game"), Edward Uspensky ("Or may be a crow").The first in the capital moves Tatar from Kiev, and then invites Gladkov from Leningrad. His songs composer will gladly give other performers. So, hit "Mouse New Year" became a debut composition for a small artist Dasha Oganezova, the daughter of Pianist Leon Oganezov.
Another just starting the creative way, the musician faced misunderstanding from the audience and listeners. The composer at that time was confused with his named Gennady Genkovoy, the author of the music to the films "Gentlemen of Good luck", "12 chairs", "ordinary miracle", "People and mannequins", "Bremen Musicians", "Kid and Carlson".
Colleagues offered Gregory Vasilyevich to take a pseudonym, but he refused, arguing that, among the smooth many more outstanding figures (the playwright Alexander Gladkov, director Mikhail Gladkov, comic Nikolay Gladkov).
In 1986-1988, the composer writes music for a series of puppet cartoons "about faith and anfisu", which loved all Soviet children. Soundtracks for them were songs on the poems of Edward Assumption "Afisce Monkey", "What is most likely to children", "Fire Song".

The first government award in the biography of the artist appeared in 2004: Gladkov was awarded the title "Honored Artist of the Russian Federation". Next year, he became a permanent member of the Jury "Children's Eurovision" from Russia.
In addition to working at the children's festivals and competitions, touring the country and abroad, Gregory Gladkov writes and adult lyrics. In 2014, Master released the album "Walking in St. Petersburg under the accompaniment of guitar and rain", dedicated to the beloved city. Personal life
In the life of the famous artist there was the first marriage. This page of the personal life of smooths turned over and for a long time did not return to her in his memoirs. His wife was named Marina, the girl was athlete, born in Kislovodsk. Grigory Vasilyevich was familiar with her from 13 years.
The wedding took place when the musician was already 30 years old. Famous, the wealthy artist understood that he was needed by the family. According to Gladkov, he did not like his bride, but he married her pity. Union has existed for 10 years. There were no children from spouses. After parting, Marina went to the United States.
