In August 1958, he decided on the campaign of the third, the highest level of complexity at that time. The mining expedition was headed by Igor Dyatlov, a student of the radio engineering faculty, for the course of older Yuri.
After this, the campaign of Dyatlov offered several tourists, including Yudine, to go to the Northern Urals in the winter of 1959. The young man did not take an invitation for a dangerous expedition for a long time, but ultimately agreed. He was appointed by a doctor.
Personal life
Yuri Efimovich lived a secluded personal life, without his wife and children, in Solikamsk. In 1971, a three-bedroom apartment went for the faithful service to the plant. Career

The death of the Dyatlov group, oddities and inconsistencies of that tragedy, Yudin spoke until the end of days. As the only one who survived, he considered his duty to get to the truth. An integral part of his career was meeting with other interested "Datelov".
Yuri Efimovich refuted the recognized official version of the death due to weather conditions, collecting facts in favor of "criminal". The circumstances of the death of the Dyatlov group are still a stumbling block of scientists and conspiraologists. Many seems strange that three tourists, Dubinin, Tibin-Brignol and Zolotarev, according to the conclusion of an expert-criminalist, died not from frostbite, but from death injuries. It does not give rest to contemporaries and the fact that students left the tent is emergency, as evidenced by the fact of cutting the tent from the inside and the fact that no shoes put on.
One way or another, Yudin argued that "the guys he was cleaned." If he knew the only surviving, who was guilty of the death of "Dyatlovtsev", did not have time to report during his lifetime.
From 1993 to 1999, Yuri Efimovich worked in the administration of Solikamsk as a deputy head of the economy. In 1998, his pension was sent to a well-deserved holiday, but eventually returned to the post.
The total experience of Yudina was 41 and 5 months. Its employment book contains 95 records about awarding, promotions and achievements in various fields.
Death
On April 27, 2013, at the 75th year of life, Yuri Efimovich died. The cause of death is progressive rheumorphitis.

As the creators admitted, they had to spend a lot of time in the archives, studying the diaries of the group members and the investigation materials in order to recreate the increasing accuracy.
