"Dances" on TNT is the largest dance show of Russia. The idea of creating a dance show on TNT TV channel belongs, perhaps, the most productive producer of Comedy Club Production Vyacheslav Dusmukhametov. Thanks to him, the audience saw the series "Univer" and "Interns", Comedy Woman programs, "Improvisation", "Once in Russia", "Songs", "Not to sleep", Stand Up and others.
Among the diversity of entertainment programs on TNT lacked only dancing, and for the first time the idea of collecting the best dancers in the country on the same stage was sounded in 2012. According to the creative producer of "Dance" Armen Ohanyana:
"For us, this was an obvious idea, it's strange that no one came up with this before."Preparation for the launch of the project was carried out for 2 years. The essence and rules of the project
To reach the finals of the Dance project, the participants need to overcome the long way, which begins with castings in cities. In each season, the creative team tries to expand geography. So, in the 1st season, the mentors looked at the numbers in 6 cities of Russia: Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Kazan and Moscow. In the 2nd season, the most extreme point of the Far East was caused by Vladivostok.By the 5th season, the route of the "dance" came out far beyond the country - to Belarus and Israel. According to the number of votes, the best dancer of the week is determined, as well as the top of the candidates for departure from the project. In the final season, the rules of the selection of participants were slightly changed: candidates needed to hear the cherished "yes" immediately from two members of the jury. There was no reason without pleasant surprises - the audience in the story of the meeting with graduates of the project of past years, which also participated in the battle for the title of the best dancers.
Unfortunately, there were unpleasant surprises. Due to the fact that many participants infected with coronavirus, it was decided to stop the project's shooting in order not to endanger the rest. The final of the television show will be shown in approximately the spring of 2021.
