Anton Sevidov was engaged in music from the young age, and the creative impulse motivated him to create Tesla Boy. The organization of the team preceded several attempts to solo realization, so the author managed to accumulate the luggage of the compositions that were waiting for the starry hour.
The name of the team was born by chance. The neighbor of the house once said Sevidov that electricity affects the music of Anton, and called him Nikola Tesla. This case inspired the musician to record the song "Tesla Boy", which subsequently gave the name to the group.
In 2008, Sevidov invited Dmitry Gubnitsky guitarist to cooperate: the creative tandem formed a duet. Later, the drummer Boris Livshits joined them. In this composition, the team received a proposal to cooperate from the Mullet Records musical label. The guide showed a desire to release a mini-album consisting of 5 tracks. So the history of Tesla Boy has begun.
Subsequently, the trio joined the bassist Leonid Zatagin and the drummer Mikhail Studentil. Livshitz left the team, but he replenished Stanislav Astakhov, who came to the group in 2013. Tesla Boy positioned themselves as an independent team. Participants together worked on creating texts, conceptual ideas, musical arrangements and style. Music
The music team found the first fans after Tesla Boy has posted 5 demo-records on the Internet, combining them under the Neuming "The Tesla Boy Ep". Music interested immediately several specialized Internet editions from abroad. 2010 was very productive for musicians. The team released the album "Modern Thrills" and became the invited guest of the foreign festival EXIT. The team spoke on the same stage where his compositions were performed by Mika, Placebo, Missy Elliott, The Chemical Brothers, David Guetta, Pendulum and others.
In the autumn, the group visited the Norwegian town of Tromsow, where he became a member of the Festival Insomnia. Together with the music team, Hurts Tesla Boy performed at a large concert in St. Petersburg in 2011 and gave 5 concerts in Finland and Sweden.
