Biography
On May 28, 2019, the former Minister of Finance, a famous politician Alexander Danilyuk, was appointed by the Decree of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky to the post of Secretary of the Council of National Security and Defense. In the biography of Alexander Alexandrovich Danilyuk, there were still many gaps left, since the man born on July 22, 1975 in the Moldovan city of Grigoripol, a man prefers to be his homeland to Ukraine.
This is permissible, because immediately after the child appears, the Sasha family moved to Kiev. There, Father Alexander Petrovich became the head of the Research Institute, and Mother Lyudmila Vladimirovna worked as a university teacher of cybernetics.
Inheriting the tendency of the parents, Alexander graduated from the physico-mathematical class of high school and in the early 1990s entered the Higher Educational Institution, now known as the National Polytechnic University of Ukraine.
There is information that the first specialty Danilyuk was engineering and an electrician, but the bulk of the sources claims that the young man from the very beginning he studied at the Right and Lawyer. One way or another, the future politician received a diploma in the field of jurisprudence and in parallel - financial education in the Ukrainian Institute of Investments.
The desire to improve the qualifications made Alexander continue training and at the end of the Business School and Indian University to receive a master's degree in business administration, which made it possible to occupy posts in the manual.
Career and politics
At the beginning, Career Danilyuk did not think about politics and was content with prestigious posts in leading national and foreign companies. In 1995, Alexander worked as a broker of the Ukrainian company TEKT, and then held the head of the Alpha Capital Bank investment department and the WNISEF Foreign Fund manager.
The experience gained and language practice allowed the young financingist to advance further, and soon he became an international representative of the consulting company McKinsey & Company. After a short period spent in Moscow, Alexander was transferred to London, where he received the citizenship of Great Britain and headed the Investment Foundation Rurik Investment, specializing in real estate transactions and a land foundation in the UK and Eastern Europe.
In parallel with financial activities, Danilyuk was engaged in lawyer practice and was a defender of such famous personalities as Viktor Yushchenko and Boris Phencher. In 2004, a man became the leader of the entrepreneurial support center and began to participate in national and public promotions in Ukraine.
Such work took a considerable amount of time and prevented the full performance of responsibilities in a foreign company, so in 2010 Danilyuk returned from abroad and became a freelance adviser to President Viktor Yanukovych and the head of the Center for Financial and Economic Reforms.
In 2014, when the power was changed in Ukraine, the temporary head of state Alexander Turchinov liberated the financier from his position, but Alexander managed to stay in the political elite and become a ministerial representative of President Petro Poroshenko. Probably, the new leader was like working with an experienced employee, and in September 2015, Danilyuk appointed official deputy head of the presidential apparatus.
Thanks to the statements about the impossibility of cooperation with Russia and the need to integrate into the Western economy, Alexander Alexandrovich received the position of Minister of Finance in the Government of Vladimir Groysman, formed in 2016.
In parallel, the former investor solved problems with personal financial interest in the activities of foreign companies "Rurik Real Estate Investment Limited" and "Cee Investment & Advisory LLP". As a result, he had to abandon foreign citizenship and continue his career in the nationality of Ukrainian nationality.
Cleaning the reputation, Danilyuk demanded the expansion of authority and the right to independently engage in personnel policies within the ministry. But the Chairman of the Government did not appreciate the manifested zeal, and in June 2018, the Verkhovna Rada decided to release the chapter of the Financial Cabinet from his position. Despite this, Alexander Alexandrovich remained in politics and took an active part in the election campaign of the candidate for the post of President of Ukraine - Showman Vladimir Zelensky.
Personal life
Official sources contain little information about the personal life of the new Secretary of the National Security Council of Ukraine. Journalists are known that he has a wife and two children who live, work and learn in the UK. The press does not have family photos, and few people know how relatives and close Danilyuk look like.The eldest son Richard receives education in college St. Mary in Winchester, and the youngest Vladimir spends time under the supervision of a professional nanny.
Probably, Olga's spouse does not have time necessary for the full education of boys, because at the end of the University of London, the University of Arts and Design, she became a director of the director in one of the theaters located in the West End area.

After Vladimir Zelensky won the elections of the President of Ukraine, it became clear that the main government positions would receive people from the nearest environment of the new head of state.
Contrary to the opinion expressed by another adviser to the Ukrainian leader Ruslan Ryabosha, the former showman knew perfectly well, how to distribute roles among supporters, and agreed on candidates with Western partners.
Alexander Danilyuk was one of the first to be appointed and on May 28, 2019, according to the Presidential Decree No. 327/2019, he joined the position of head of the SBO.
Now the politician is working on updating the composition and is trying to find a decision on the return of transit gas into the territory of Ukraine. In the future, Danilyuk's service plans to receive partial control over finance and participate in decision-making relating to the Crimea and armed conflict in the Donbas.
