Summer 2019 is the time of new products from the American metallers Killswitch Engage. In June, the guys posted on YouTube official visualization to the Unleashed track, in July - a video clip to the song I am Broken Too, and in mid-August, they released the long-awaited album atonement. But on this surprises for loyal fans, it was not over - at the same time, the guitarist and vocalist of the Group reported that they would work on the next joint compilation (or EP) of another Times of Grace.The history of creation and composition
The history of the creation of KSE is closely related to the history of the collapse of another musical team Overcast. After the dissolution of the latter in 1998, the guitarist Mike Di thought about his own team, where the style and traditions of the previous one were preserved.
The idea was supported by the ex-soloists Aftershock Joel Strotyoleve and Adam Dutkevich, who played on the rhythm and solo guitar, respectively. It was tugged with a vocalist - I had to go through a lot of candidates to stay at Jesse Liche, by whose shoulders remained Providence and Nothing Stays Gold.
However, in the initial composition of Metalists spoke not long - in 2002 due to pregnancy, the team decided to leave the last arrived participant. Howard Jones came to his replacement, whose voice sounded in the team until 2012, when a lich returned back. In 2003, Justin Fewie's drummer was organically joined here.
The choice of such a sonorous and memorable name for the group came up with its founder.

It seems that with Karma and the luck of the artists everything is in order: at the start of the career, they warmed the hall before the speeches of Korn, and then toured along with Metallica, Sepultura, Slipknot and others.The debut album, named by the name of the team playing Metal and Hard-Cor-Punk, appeared on July 4, 2000, and the next, where the Fixation on the Darkness, My Last Serenade and Life to Lifeless follows the tracks, - exactly 2 years. The efforts were successful: the record itself was called "too cool", and its creators are the hottest group of the year.
In the summer of 2003, the guys received an order - to write a soundtrack to the horror movie "Freddie vs. Jason", but those sitting at work, so swollen that the material obtained was enough for a separate collection.
By the way, this is not the only composition of musicians, sounding in cult film, - in 2015 their hit Loyalty settled in the legendary TV series "Game of Thrones".
In the future, four "studios" were replenished with the discography of artists, in 2019, as mentioned above, atonement was joined to them (eighthly).
Killswitch Engage Now
Three-year silence of Killswitch Engage in 2019 interrupted the long-awaited disk "Atonement", whose release had to be postponed due to the health problems of the vocalist. In addition to the main composition, Howard Jones (The Signal Fire) took part in the record, and the Crownless King Testament King leader.
It is noteworthy that all incomes with a clip on the I Am Broken Too team donated a non-profit organization to Hope for the Day, which engaged in suicide prevention, enlightened in mental health issues through music and art.
