Music
In 2015, IKON was engaged in studio work and the Welcome Back debut album was released by the autumn. Tracks "Rhythm Ta", "Mup", "Today" and "Airplane", composed by the BI leader in co-authorship with the singer Bobby, were presented in the 1st part of the record, and the 2nd part appeared later and included the songs of "Apology", "Anthem" and "I Miss You SO Bad".At the same time, the group released the MY Type clip, which gathered about 2 million views of Youtube and earned Youku, QQ Music and Gaon awards, and sold a record number of tickets for a live concert. On the eve of the new year, the guys organized meetings with fans and 100-thousand circulation distributed "Debut Half Album", which meant the "debut semi-album".
In 2016, after the release of the final version of the first studio record, the presentation "Welcome Back" was held in Japan, and in one week she entered the three weekly Chit Parade Oricon and received 2 awards at the Japan Record Awards ceremony.
Soon after that, the producers of the YG Entertainment announced the Asian IKON concerts, which ended with additional shows in Tokyo, who passed on Yokohama Arena and completed 3-month IKONCERT 2016: Showtime & Japan Tour.
In May 2016, their idols were replenished with the joy of fans and released the digital single "What you doing" ("#wyd"), and after this, the Japanese Dumb & Dumber edition and the Chinese show Heroes of Remix came out.
In 2017, becoming the best Korean group according to QQ and China Music, the guys continued to write music and in the late spring released the singles album "New Kids: Begin". In addition, the initial member of the Bobby group in the solo project collaborated with Mino (Winner) and performed duets with Donhotek and the Korean singer named Katie Kim.
However, the public was waiting for full-fledged groups of the group, which in 2018 were recorded plates called "New Kids: Continue", "New Kids: The Final" and "Return". They consisted of songs found in collaboration with many performers, and singles "Killing Me", "Freedom" and "Love Scenario", which IKON supported in the tops and several weeks headed Gaon Chart.
IKON now
In June 2019, a member of the nicknamed B.i under the photo posted in the Personal Instagram, said that he was going to leave the project. In this regard, the independent Dispatch company found proof of his connection with LSD and marijuana, and without any mutual claims of the YG Entertainment terminated with him a contract.
The rest of the performers continued to work on the "New Kids: RePackage" compositions and prepared the release of the first song published under the name "I'm OK".
