The Russian music team "Stigmat" was founded in 2003 in St. Petersburg. The music group genre belongs to the metal, which connects the extremal metal and hard-corp. This style has gained popularity in the early 1980s. The history of the creation of a rock team began with the fact that participants began to actively engage in music 2 years before the official association.
At this time, the team had no name. Later, the guys came up with the unusual name of "Stigmat", which, according to them, sounds harder. The logo of the group was the Latin letter S, standing at the beginning of this word. The press believes that the title contains a religious subtext, since stigmatics are bleeding wounds on the body in Jesus Christ, which arose in his crucifixion.
Debut concerts The musicians began to give at the junction of 2003 and 2004. A significant part of them was held in the popular Petersburg club "Polygon", in which the formation of a large number of local groups took place. The composition of the musical group at that time included Basist Denis Kichenko, a guitarist Taras Umansky, the drummer Nikita Ignatiev and Vocalist Artem Lotskikh.
Music
Stigmata sharply became famous and recognizable in 2004. This year was for the participants of the team very fruitful due to the fact that they signed a contract with the recording label "Dr. Records", released the debut plate "Conveyor Dreams", followed by the second album "more than love".Next year, participants began to actively play heated in the already mastered the popularity of domestic groups and became full participants in the largest rock festival "Wings", on which a small solo concert was given. The successful company AVIGATOR RECORDS suggested a contract for the release of the 3rd album for which 11 compositions from 20 took place.
At about the same time, the discography of the group was expanded by the new stigmata plate of the same name. The disk included such tracks as "wings", "God will forgive me", "Leave the hope", "price of your life" and other equally high-quality songs. The video of the audience was made a clip to the main hit under the name "September", afterwards this video more often ordered on television channels dedicated to alternative music.
In order to attract interest, an interesting course was invented, which was not used to this point not one of the Russian groups - a folk survey. On the official website "Stigmaty" was conducted voting, following which a concert track list was formed.
At the same time, the release of the album "My Way" was presented, which is the fourth studio. In the group "Stigmat" at the time of publication, the record includes two new members - Artem Tehlinsky and Fyodor Lokshin. The latter behind the drums in 2011 was replaced by Vladimir Zinoviev.
October 11, 2017 The Group presented the name of the new Studio Album "Mainstream?", Which was held on November 1, 2017. With the presentation of the stigmata plate went to the concert tour, which covered 20 cities.

In 2019, the group fans were able to appreciate the new acoustic album, called the "Kaleidoscope" and the first promotional clip "History".
