The guys played music in the style of Soft-Rock, recorded several albums and in 2010 were separated by leaving after themselves rhythmic songs that fans still dance and nostalgic about the past.

The history of creation and composition

The group Reamonn is German, although performing songs in English, and their founder and frontman Rapimar Garvey come from Ireland. The guy wrote music, played the guitar and sang, but the career was not asked in his homeland. The team of The Reckless Pedestrians, which he headed, had demo-peppers, but kept at the level of middle peasants. Then the singer decided to go to Germany to collect a professional group there, from which it would be possible to record songs and perform with concerts.

The history of the creation of Reamonn originates in 1997. Arriving to a new country without money and connections, Garvi wrote an ad in the local newspaper about what is looking for musicians. The first responel Mike Gommeringer on nicknamed Gomeres responded.

He with enthusiasm supported the idea and connected to the project of his long-fashion friend Sebastian Padoski, playing keys and saxophone. The keyboard player received a nickname Professor Zube, because he had a classic musical education. The creation of the rock band was the dream of his childhood.

Zebi led to the team of Uwe Bossert, who played the guitar, adored heavily rock and fan from the AC / DC. It got a banal nickname guitarist. The latter in the group appeared bass player Philipp Raunboys on nicknamed Phil, who also knew how to play piano.

The guys agreed in a general view of creativity, they wanted to play pop rock - music is quite light, but not quite "candy". The first speech took place under the New Year 1998 in the southwestern German town of rods.

Having worked together for about a year, the musicians decided to demonstrate to recording companies. Their goal is to enter into an album record - was achieved successfully. Having gathered in the Logo Hamburg club, Reamonn played before 16 producers and as a result they could still choose who it was to work with.

The choice fell on Virgin Records, whose studio Take One was in Frankfurt. It was a real, filled with expensive equipment the playground, which novice musicians could only dream. Here the guys began to look for a sound for a debut album, but in the process moved to England. As a result, the record was held in Manchester, and the well-known London producer Steve Laiom was engaged in the information.

Music

In the spring of 2000, Reamonn finished work on the debut single "Supergirl". It was this track from the future album that the musicians decided to promote the radio and did not lose: he instantly took off to the top of the German charts, swinging in the tops of Austria radio stations, the Netherlands and other European countries.

Newbies began to be happy to invite to rock festivals, where they represented the new songs. The team then went to a joint tour with the ascending stars of the Gothic Rock - the Finnish group HIM. This led to the fact that their first album "Tuesday" became an expected event in Europe.

The plate included 11 tracks and showed that Reamonn cannot be called a group of one hit. In addition, the energy and charisma of the soloist lit the halls, and those who came only to listen to the "Supergirl", left the concerts by loyal fans. The lyrics for the first album Raimon Garvey wrote alone, but over the music performers worked together. Artists tried that the melodies would be consonant with their lives and carried openness, passion and drive.

European tour in support "Tuesday" passed "with a bang," and Reamonn went to Italian Tuscany, to start working on the second disc. Musicians continued to work in the style of pop rock, combining light rhythmic melodies with heavier compositions.

"DREAM NUMBER 7" expected commercial success, and inspired participants continued to tour in Europe by visiting Russia. This plate cost without loud hits, but the popularity of the team only grew. In addition to working on its own material, the guys were engaged in joint projects, writing a cover for the Album "POP 2001", where popular artists created modern versions on the hits of past years. The group is offered to write music to the movies, and Reamonn can be heard in the pictures of the "tariff for the moonlight" and "barefoot on the pavement".

"Beautiful Sky" was recorded in Spain and came out in 2003, becoming platinum, but by that time the musicians managed to get tired of turbulent concert activities and took a creative pause. The next album "Wish" the fans saw only 3 years later, but he presented the Superhit "Tonight", which to this day remains a business card of the German collective. Here they sounded "Sometimes" and "La Skies".

This record was recorded in Los Angeles, and produced her Greg Fidelman, who worked with the stars of the first magnitude. At that time, the group changed the label by going to Universal Music.

In 2008, Reamonn recorded the same album, opened by the "Faith" track, which was chosen by the official trail of the German championship in 2009. The disk supported fans favorably, but the creative zador of the team went to the decline.

About 2 years old guys worked on the next release, which is new to name only with a large stretch. On August 27, 2010, Reamonn released the last album "Eleven", which included 3 new tracks: "Yesterday", "Colder" and "Let The Morning Sleep". The rest of the record presented the best songs from the previously published: "Tonight", "Weep", "Star" and others. Deluxe Edition included DVD with all video and some concert records.

Collapse of the collective

Recovering the 6th album, the musicians decided to relax apart from each other. And the official statement that the group broke up, guys did not. Having spent the last joint tour in the summer of 2010, Reamonn took a creative pause, which was delayed and eventually resulted in the final collapse of the team. At the same time, Garvey spoke in an interview that there were no conflicts and disagreements between the participants. The singer did not even excuse the possibility that over time they would start playing together again.

However, Reamonn was no longer gathered by the classic composition and began to build a new career. Frontman began to perform under the name of Ri Garvi and in 2012 released the debut solo album "Can't Stand The Silence". The singer still stands and writes songs, on his account 3 disks and several singles. Raymont leads a page in "Instagram", where it is divided by fresh photographs and announces concert events. A man repeatedly occupied the judicial chair in the German version of the Vocal Show "Voice".

The remaining performers found a new soloist Thomas Hanraja and formed a team of Stereolove, who took its niche at the German music market. The group's discography includes 3 plates. However, the new draft of the former REAMONN and was not remotely able to achieve the popularity that accompanied them in the 2000s, when queues were built on concerts, and the clips were infinitely spinning on musical channels.
